Make it make sense…LLSP Pricing

Rise is one we actually buy every time. We always zig while the masses zag during rope drop with only 1 exception (Epcot) to save the stress of running with the bulls, and we typically get more done. At HS that means starting down Sunset and working our way back from Tower. Rise and Slinky are always done with LLs, it’s the only way I’ll ever do that park. It just makes for a far more chill morning.

The end of the night strategy is a nonstarter to me for this ride because of how unreliable it is, you’re essentially playing Russian roulette doing that esp. if you only have one day for HS. I would only ever chance it on a longer trip with multiple HS days.

Ofc there are only 2 of us, and we are huge Star Wars nerds who love Rise (it’s actually my partner’s favorite ride, and it was mine until Cosmic Rewind came out) so it’s easy to justify the purchase. For larger groups I can see the aversion. But for us it’s worth it to avoid lines and stress.

I’ve always said that the single biggest factor in making a late night plan work is the fear that it won’t. We’ve been doing this for over 30 years and it hasn’t failed us yet.

We travel with a group of 8 and have been successful so far without purchasing any version of single pass. Using Rise as an example, we’d much rather wait a bit and ride three times than pay to ride once.

For those mentioning the wait time going down towards park close, how far in advance of park close does it really start to go down? My friends and I are going soon but also want to see Fantasmic so trying to figure out when would be a good time to jump in line before heading over to find a seat for the show
I want to say we went about 90 minutes before park close in April and rode it 3 times walk on, it does take maybe 10 minutes to walk the ride queue though. When we first got in the line the wait was posted 60 minutes. That is the one ride where I feel like they highly inflate the wait time in the evening, I think because people spent $20 a person to ride it and they don't want them to know it's walk on.
