This is a question for all owners. I recently spent a week and a day at the BCV. These units are only 4 months old. There was one thing that bothered me. The shower knobs kept falling off and needed to be tightened almost every day. I know this is an issue for maintenance, but I also spent one day in a studio where the knob was missing completely. You can still use the shower; it is the decorative part that was missing.
I can see this being a problem in all the rooms with all of the knobs. The sinks were loose but none were missing yet.
In my humble opinion, DVC management made a bad choice when they picked the fixtures for the resort that would allow this to happen. Now I own at OKW so I dont have to pay the maintenance fees at BCV, but having to replace missing knobs all the time in that many units, can add up to some cost. I am sure that cost is passed on to the owners. I think that is totally unfair and should be addressed somehow.
