Main Pool and Quite Pool Hours ???

What are the operating hours for the pools at DVC and other Disney resorts?

I had heard that the quiete pools were open 24 hrs. Is that true?

Recently back from BWV in July, pools both quite and otherwise were in use 24hrs. Slide closed on main pool at about 2300hrs.

Technically, I believe that there are signs that have opening and closing times, but I've often seen people in the pools past the closing hour.

What amazes me is when I see people in the pools during frigid times of year. I know that they're heated, but you've got to get out at some point. BRRR!!!

I think that the 'posted' pool hours are those that are staffed by Life Guards (at the main pool anyway.) The material provided at check-in though indicates that the pools are open 24 hours.

The pools are open 24 hrs. I have been in them as late or early as 2am. One time we even had a Disney security guard come over and talk to us for awhile.

This is why when we went in late December we sacrificed some luggage space for heavy cotton bathrobes - one for each of us. They were perfect, you get out of the pool and right into the cotton bathrobe. We went swimming the first morning we arrived at OKW and it was pretty cool out, but we had a great time.
