Please take me through the steps of mailing a package to my resort. How many days before arrival? Can I send that box back home from the resort (I will not have a car) What about a case of water, how does that work? Help I leave on the 18th.

as far as sending a box down and how long it takes, depends on
#1 where do you live?
#2 are you doing UPS, standard US mail, Fed Exp?? You can ship overnight
or standard. For instance, I used standard ups ground shipment from IL to
WDW and it took 2 days a few years ago when I did it. I went to a UPS
store with my box, they helped me tape and label it and off it went.

Before you go, I would call the resort and let them know that you are expecting a box. I am not sure if it really matters but they gave me instructions on how to label it. I put
My name
c/o resort name
resort address
and in the lower left put "ATTENTION: RESORT GUEST"

at check in, they told me I had a pkg waiting and had bell services deliver it. I remember the resort charging a handling fee....maybe $25? It was kinda pricey and that is why I am not shipping myself a box again. Plus, you should tip the person who delivers to your room, just like any other service.

You may be better off ordering things from the "garden grocer". They only charge $12 for any size order and you can have it delivered to the front desk and carry it back yourself with no charge from the resort. Their prices are not as cheap as wal mart but MUCH better than resort grocery prices and then you do not have all of the shipping, handling costs.

I did this in November and had it shipped to the AKL and they did not charge a fee. It worked very well. Shipped it UPS and I had packed inside the box a label with my home address and some extra packing tape so that I could pack the box up and ship it back home to myself at the end of the stay. That worked really well also. I just brought it up to the front desk the night before we left, all packed up and ready to go and they weighed it and I put the charges on to my room bill. If you go on to the UPS site and plug in where you want to ship your package to and from and approximate weight, and when you want it to arrive, it will tell you when you need to mail it. Hope this helps. Any more questions, just ask. Our luggage tends to get lost when we fly (it's been more places than we have), so we decided to mail it this last time rather than checking it and just took a small carry on for what we might need for over night. Worked great.
