Maid Service Cost Help

I usually go to WDW from Saturday to the following Sunday (8 nights). I want to use points for the first 6 nights (Saturday through Thursday) and pay cash for the last 2 nights (Friday and Saturday). I want full maid service every day.

Which days will I have to pay the extra $$ for full maid service? Thanks.

If your cash nights are thru CRO, you will get housekeeping for those days. If they were booked thru MS, they will not get housekeeping.

It sounds as though you have 6 nights on points- you will have a Trash/Towel service on day 4 (Tuesday) if your last 2 nights are thru CRO. If booked thru MS, you may get a full clean on Day 4 and a T/T on day 8 (Saturday). (Check your confirmation- it should tell you when your housekeeping service will be provided.)

Any extra services you'd like can easily be arranged when you arrive.

Regardless, you will at least need housekeeping service on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday if you want daily service.

If I pay cash for Friday and Saturday nights through CRO, is the cleaning on Friday included in the cash ressie? I don't want to get maid service on Sunday after I check out.

If you stay in the same room on Friday, I'm not sure whether you could argue for a cleaning. If you move to another room, of course it will start out clean.

If this stay were entirely on points or points and a Member discount, you would get a full cleaning on Tuesday and a Trash & Towel on Saturday.

Here's some info from member services and Boardwalk housekeeping.

MS says that the Friday cleaning is incuded with Friday night's cash ressie. They also said that I would have to pay $30 for a full cleaning even on the day that my T&T is scheduled for. There is no credit/discount on T&T day.

If I stay 8 nights on points I would have to pay $30 for full cleaning on 6 days/nights. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Housekeeping told me that they do not do a full cleaning every day even for the cash paying general public. Sheets are changed every fourth day. They make it look presentable but don't really scrub and vacuum the place every day. Even MS didn't know that.

Can I get some feedback from anyone that has paid for the full cleaning service while using points?

The real "full cleaning" to housekeeping probably means dusting the blinds, scrubbing the floors, vaccuuming, etc., etc. No, they don't do a full scrubbing every day, just "as needed". They will wash the dishes (in the dishwasher), empty the trash, make the beds, change the towels and straighten up and/or dust, vaccuum where they see something.

If you want clean bed linens every day, I'm sure it can be requested. That is the general policy throughout WDW. They are trying to be "green" and cut down on the wash loads.
