We got ours the other day, and tried them on. Are they REALLY uncomfortable or is it just me? They feel better with the Mickey down... Will it start to feel better after a long period of time?:eek::(

Some options:

Wear the band on a belt loop or lanyard.
Carry the band in your pocket.

Choose to use a regular flat plastic RFID ticket instead of the band.

It's not just you. I found them uncomfortable, too. I blame it on the curve at Mickey's sides. They force it into a shape that does not fit the shape of my wrist. After 3 days of wearing it, I bought a fabric cover that helped a lot. The shape is still wrong but it is not as annoying. Also wearing it on my right wrist was much better than my left.

Very comfortable to me, I forget I even have it on.

This was our experience too. In fact, kept missing it after I got home. For some reason, the door to my house doesn't open now when I raise my wrist!!!:)

I think they are a bit uncomfortable too. It did get better as the trip went on though, maybe I just got used to it. Just carry it in your bag or pocket if you can't wear it.

I did wear mine with the Mickey down. It seemed to fit better. I did get used to it and didn't even notice it there.

I found it horribly uncomfortable. After a few days, it was less uncomfortable if that makes sense. I hate the things. BUT, it didn't bother my son at all. I'm assuming it's just the way the band is made and the shape of my wrist.

We are here right now. Yes the bands are permanently bent in a shape that is NOT the shape of my wrist. I am not wearing mine at all but instead am curling it up and have it attached to me in various locations for quick access.

Have found too that when wearing it I can't seem to hit Mickey to Mickey very easily...my wrist just doesn't twist and turn to meet the turnstile requirements.
You are definitely not alone OP. I'm hoping to turn mine into more of a pendant for next time. Lol

They do get better with wearing, they sort of mold to your wrist some and don't feel as awkward as they do right out of the box. The first time I tried mine on I hated it but over a 5 day trip I'd all but forgotten I was wearing it by day 3.

ETA: Wearing it at the end of a lanyard works well too. I wore mine on my wrist but my 5yo often wanted to take hers off so I looped it through the end of my lanyard. It held on just fine there and was easy to position at the scanners for use.

Lol! It was very hard to come back home to reality; I had to use keys again!

I have been wearing mine for and hour or so here and there trying to break it in but it is still very uncomfortable. I have an AP so I'll still need cards with me and play to just loop it around the lanyard.

I didn't mind wearing the Magic Band. My sister found hers annoying.

The only time the band bothered me was when I got water under it. Had to keep taking it off to wash my hands, which bugged my sister because I can't put the thing back on by myself, no coordination. :rotfl:

Yes, we found them extremely uncomfortable, too. We only wore them for a few hours and then stuffed them in our purses the rest of the week.

Didn't bother me but did bother my DH a bit. The only time it really bothered me was when I was sleeping. Trying to roll over somehow that darn bracelet would almost *stick* to the sheets. So, I took it off most nights. :)
