Magicband/AP question

I have been buying AP vouchers for our June trip and had a question about magicbands. Will we get magicbands when we redeem our vouchers or is this something we will need to order and customize online later (after we are home)?

I'm trying to decide whether I should order some magicbands from the disney store for the kids for stocking stuffers. I don't want to spend the money if they will be given one when we redeem the vouchers though.

Based on my Experience ( Nov. 2014). WE stayed on site at Disney resorts so got MB's because of that but once I redeemed voucher I could go onto MDE and "order" my AP holder MB that was shipped to my house and arrived a few days after I ordered it.
So yes you will get MB once you redeem voucher but it will arrive after you are home from trip. You can buy MB in parks and they do have special design ones that cost more 14.95-29.95. I saw Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Big Hero 6, Haunted Man. and summer olaf and holiday olaf while I was there. The higher priced ones ( 29.95) made sounds when scanned at tap styles in "their" park Like my Summer Olaf one said something like "chillin" in DHS and turned circle half blue/half green, It worked like any other MB in other parks.

Thanks for the info, that was exactly what I was looking for. My husband and I already have 2 sets of bands, one for staying onsite last year for marathon weekend (without the kids) and also for being AP holders. However, the last time we redeemed our vouchers they weren't giving magicbands to AP holders yet so we ordered them before our AP's expired just to have them.

Just wasn't sure if now they handed them to you when you got your AP. I'm always looking for something useful to put in the stockings so I will order some for the kids for our June trip.
