Magical Shoes?

FitFlops give me enough support. What I like the most about them is the bottom is rather thick, and, to me, is very cushion-y. I find them online at Amazon, Ebay and also at DSW. Some stores carry them as well.

Another vote for Fitflops! I love them. My advice would be to try some on and once you know your size/style order them on Amazon or from the Fitflop site. I normally wear a 7/7 1/2 and I wear a 6 in Fitflops. I really like the Lulu style.

Tevas are my go to for wet park days due to rain or water rides (or water parks), but I tend to take an arsenal of shoes when we go. Can't get away with wearing a shoe more than two days or my feet hate me.

No sure if these have been mentioned but I have a pair of Clarks vapor mist sandals that I bought last year. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn at the parks in over 10 trips.

Try Flip Flops, they are amazing! My feet never felt tired or sore.

Hadn't heard of FitFlops before this post. You find they give you enough support?

For our last Disney trip I lived in my Go Walks...and I actually live in these in general (have a few pairs). Unfortunately even these have started bothering me on the small toe and sides so am looking at flip flop styles. Am thinking of trying the Merrell Terrain as the toes are open and similar style of flip flops but good support.

Yes, they are amazing! They have alot of different styles. I wore this one, a mix of athletic shoe and sandal.

After putting a lot of miles on a lot of different shoes in the parks last year I ended up loving my Teva's Hurricane more than anything else.
When I say I've tried every shoe mentioned in this thread, I'm not kidding. Every single brand listed, I've taken it and worn it at Disney.
It's rather absurd how many pairs of shoes I've bought and taken to Disney. Embarrassing actually. From the most expensive to the least. Some are ok but none beat out the Hurricane's, even other Teva
Anyway, these ended up being the shoes that have turned in to THE perfect park shoe, wet or dry, doesn't matter. They are truly my Magical Shoe
Oddly enough, they even enabled me to break my other rule regarding shoes at Disney, I can wear these every day for a 10 day trip and have happy feet. Prior to these, I needed to change shoes each day

Just wanted to follow up on this. I ordered and received my Hurricanes and absolutely love them. I got them on a Wednesday and wore them to a theme park on Thursday and Friday -- Holiday World in Indiana. It was 97 degrees and felt every bit as humid as WDW and these were perfect. I did use body glide on my heels which I always do with sandals, but I had no soreness issues. I can't believe how supportive they are. I've even gotten compliments around town with people wanting to know where I got them. So thanks! Can't wait to wear these to WDW in October!

Really glad to hear they worked well for you too! They are so amazing. What is really shocking to me is the fact that I'd had these shoes for years and just assumed they were not as good as my more expensive, "fancier" sport sandals. Turned out the more simple worked best.

Just gonna add one more option, if that's ok...

I have terrible feet, and when I walk a lot, I am in awful pain. Achilles heel in one, Plantar Fasciitis in both, feet flatter than a Kansan prairie, wide as a barn door, broken toes like I’m trying to surpass a record, etc.. Tried dozens of shoes (expensive ones too), corticosteroid shots, prescription orthotics, splints, exercises. It’s embarrassing to admit how much money I’ve shelled out on shoes and stuff for WDW trips and other vacations over the years.

Found my happy shoes by getting Z-Coils in 2014 after a nice couple sat down next to me wearing them at Downtown Disney – I had them overnighted to my resort and they saved my vacation. Wore them every day for 2 weeks straight and had no problems. Might not work for everyone, but was a lifesaver for me. Now, I can walk hours on concrete with no pain! Bought 2 more pair for vacations so I can switch off and will never go to WDW without them.

I've been convinced I need to try the hurricane now. I tried chacos z cloud, and while comfortable, they cut across my foot in just the right way that it disturbs a joint issue I've been having. Probably wouldn't affect others the same way.

Chaco's z-cloud are awesome! I can't wear my standard Chaco anymore. I never realized how hard they were till I got the clouds last year. I haven't tried them at Disney yet but I've thought about it. I may wear them on the plane later this month but bring my Teva's, see how the Chaco's do. I got z-clouds without the toe loop which helps me tremendously. Something else I realized is I don't care for the toe loop style any more. They make my toe ache :crutches:
