That cruise was a gift from DH's parents. If I had planned it, I would have chosen something totally different.

I did a LOT (maybe too much ) research before booking this one. So I feel pretty confident that we are going to have a GREAT time! Plus, we are super excited about all the ports. I'm actually a little nervous that this will be too exhausting for us! We will probably need a vaction from our vacation.

Well then, any cruise as a gift is a good cruise.

This cruise was a very good choice as a start up with DCL. We're excited to see all the ports too, especially since they are southern Caribbean. We might have to take a day off from one of the ports and use it as a sea day. We'll see what happens. Or else we'll need a vacation after our cruise too. haha.

Hard one... I want to say pie, but I don't honestly eat it as often as I eat cookies so I bet that is closer to the truth! Sooo many different kinds and flavors, and who doesnt have happy memories of making cookies when they're a kid, as a home sick college kid, and even with their own kids? So important, cookies are!

MMM..Homemade chocolate chip cookies; right out of the oven. YUM They are important.

It's a good one, my answer. I love the different flavors of ice cream on the ship. I like the banana soft ice cream they had on the Fantasy and hoping they have it on the Magic. Without out a doubt I have to add the chocolate Souffl'e. Oh my gosh is that good !

I will have to try to chocolate soufflé!!

Brownies with caramel. And hot fudge. And a little whipped cream (but skip the cherry because that adds some level of healthiness to it.)

This reminds me of Nico. When he was 4, he ordered a hamburger off the adult menu and it came out he said, "I didn't want a salad on my burger." Needless to say, I removed the lettuce and tomato

I'm not a cherry person either. My youngest loves them, but the rest of us give a pass. More for her

Happy Mother's Day to all...Sorry a bit late. We spent the weekend in Columbus at a Starpower Dance competition. Yep "Dance Mom" here. Nothing like the show though. Ok maybe a little. I would say I am a cross between Kristi and Holly. Not as polictically correct as Holly and not as harsh as Kristi! LOL

Oh that explains it ! We had a gift cruise before But it was on RCCL.

It can't hurt to try but I heard they won't do that. Aug. 30th is my daughters b-day. Have a extra piece of cake. Since this cruise is so far away........I just had to have something before this one. I booked the Magic for a mother daughter cruise for January. The best part is for this cruise I will be Platinum !

Adults are allowed to sit at the bar in Palo and just order desert. If your daughter is busy one night in the kids club, you could go and do that.

No cruise for us this year.....moving is expensive! All of our resources are going into the house this year. Then we'll be settled and ready for this cruise with our Mates!

This is the first year that we don't have any cruises in about ten years. We always have at least one if not more in a year. This makes me sad. But who knows....maybe they will have a great Florida resident discount cruise later in the year that we can just jump on. We'll have to wait and see.
