All our family and friends say, OH you're cruising again, with Disney right? WOW you do that a lot! hahaha......they have no idea how addicting it is.

I'm a big news junkie, especially entertainment news. I also love most reality shows....Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother, etc. My two new favorites on network TV are Scandal and Revenge. I love them.

I just booked our rooms at the extremely convenient Old San Juan Sheraton for pre and post cruise. They are offering rooms for $149 for a King and $169 for 2 doubles. Waaaaay cheaper than when I first checked it out.

And the best part is that they aren't prepaid rooms and can be cancelled and changed without penalty up until a week before!

The location just can't be beat!

I must say this this is BY FAR the earliest I have ever booked a hotel room!

Wow that's a big family ! I can understand that Disney isn't for everyone. What I can't understand is that people who have never been on DCL can say the things they do. I just don't say anything anymore and enjoy talking about it with people who enjoy it as much as us.

I'm ok that it isn't for everyone as well. Plus, the less people that go is better for me

Ok, I haven't been able to get on here lately...running the kids every night to dance(competition this wkend) and I start work this week. Time to make big money. sooo WELCOME to any newbies!!!!! We are gonna be a great bunch of Mates....speaking of I will redo the questionaire for the additions to the cruise name. This will be the final vote, although I am pretty sure I know what it will be. I reserved the Sheraton right at the port. So excited...I wanted that hotel..love waking up to cruise ships literally in my face!!!

Today is Monday so here is the question for the week. What t.v shows do you watch ? !

Hmm... ok the girls love Dance Mom's( well Sydney is a competition dancer so she loves it though hates the mom's language) They also watch Disney tween shows. The Voice, and So you think you can dance?( another dancer show)

I love 2 Broke Girls, Big Bang Theory, Mike & Molly--sucker for the comedy
I also love Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy

Well I just played around the site and it wouldn't let me pick just one day. If I picked 2 days I got the 149.00 rate. I don't think I will be staying at this Hotel.

I know right?! Where else is there to stay that is close to the port? I dont think I want to pay almost $400.00 (after taxes) for the 2 days to stay here.

I would think this would be easy since we were just in San Juan in November. The one thing I have learned is this port is different. The hotels don't have any kind of shuttle service. Kinda the law ? Taxi service will charge a flat rate and 1.00 per piece of luggage. There are other Hotels............just need to find one that will allow you to stay 1 night. Hotel Elconvento is where I first picked but they require a 2 night stay.

I got the same rate when I booked the one night post cruise as the two nights pre.

I just wanted to check in. We haven't had time to think about this cruise. Our son was in a bad motor vehicle accident and we've been very busy with him. Hoping he will be released form the hospital tomorrow. He is still here and that's the greatest blessing I could ever ask for.

We did book the Sheraton for 2 nights prior to the cruise. I can't get the link to the form to work so we may have to miss voting. I think "Belles and Beaus Sailing South" has a nice ring to it lol

Prayers for your son!!! I think one of the hardest things is to watch your child suffer

So sorry to hear your news. Glad he's being released from the hospital and can go home now. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

Glad you're at the Sheraton. I think we're going to do 2 nights prior to the cruise as well.
