Magical Oct 4, 2014 Southern Caribbean

Tina~did you know that your count down ticker reads we only have 5 months until we sail? I really wish that is all we did have left...sigh:)

New question for getting to know everyone.....I'm just cruious about this:

How many cruises has everyone taken and with what cruise lines?

I have taken 15 cruises and all of them with DCL.

My favorite is stateroom 5122 on the Magic. Sitting out on that verandah while out to sea is the happiest place that I could ever be. Me and John try to do it as often as we can. John says, he also loves the fact that he has room service and can order cocktails while out there.

We have been on two cruises - Dream & Fantasy so both DCL - and have three more lined up.

We unfortunately are deprived!! Darn kids and school..lol. we have done 5 DCL and 1 RCCL(honeymoon). We have #6 in December and this one is #7. And we plan to book#8 Alaska on board depending on when Disney releases 2015. Excited for this and December's cruise cause Robin and I have adjoining verandah's. We talk daily but 7 hours apart....so it will be nice to have coffee or watch the sunset with her. =)

This will be my eighth sailing once it rolls around.
Previously been on the Wonder (Deck 7 Midship, veranda & Deck 6 Forward side-ways inside), Dream (Deck 10 Aft veranda directly under Cabana's), and Fantasy (Deck 8, Forward, ocean view, direct center starboard to port).

Of those rooms my least favorite was the Fantasy room, but I still enjoyed it.

Oasis of the Seas (RCL) is this month.
Magic Double Dip in October.
Celebrity Millennium in August of next year to Alaska.

See a pattern here ? :rotfl2: Just Disney for us !!

13 DCL cruises for us so far. We have number 14 in a month which is a redo of the PCWB and then this one will be number 15. :goodvibes We don't have a favorite stateroom....anywhere on the ship is good for us. But, we have gotten to enjoy the sideways inside staterooms quite a bit!

This will be #13 for me and #10 for DM, yes I have cruised without her, bad daughter. It is how I meet many of the cruisers on this thread, lol. This is our first time booking a verandah.

Just wanted to say I updated the ROLL CALL List on the webpage....can't believe we are closing in on 30 cruisers for this cruise...how exciting!!! Still have a long way to go and I am sure our group will grow!

1992~ Carnival Celebration
1993 ~ Dolphin Line
1994 ~Carnival Celebration
1995 ~ Carnival Ecstacy
Oct '02 ~ Carnival Sensation
Jan '04 ~ Disney Wonder
Oct '04 ~ Disney Magic
Dec '05 ~ Disney Magic
Jan '06 ~ Disney Wonder
Oct '08 ~ Disney Magic
Jan '10 ~ Disney Wonder
Nov '10 ~ Carnival Miracle
Nov '11 ~ Disney Dream
July '12 ~ Schooner Mary Day
October '12 ~ Disney Dream

I guess that is 1 Dolphin, 1 Schooner, 5 Carnival & 8 Disney for a total of 15. Mary Day is a Maine Windjammer, and pretty much camping on the water. Pretty rustic, but very cool.
Most of the Carnivals were with a girlfriend when we were both young and wild. :bitelip:
We will have a Disney Fantasy to ad in January '14.

We really started sailing Disney on a whim. I had a leftover vacation, found a good price on the Wonder and booked last minute. We were already fond of Disney (obviously, we were married there) but the cruises really rekindled our love of Disney.

Hi Everyone!

We're Joanne and Wayne, and we will be celebrating our 41st Wedding Anniversary (actual date is Sept. 1). We are hoping to be adopted as honorary Thieves since we also know a lot of the group and are VERY happy to be joining this crew.

Does anyone have plans to arrive in San Juan earlier to sightsee or stay after the cruise? We're trying to decide if we want to do that.

I met Tina on the Hawaii cruise ... I believe we were in Corinna's jewellery class together

I did two of Corinna's classes (and get lots of envious comments on my jewelry...it's so much fun to say "I made that!"). She is a sweetie, so generous and patient. I'll be bringing my bracelets if anyone wants to see them.

New question for getting to know everyone.....I'm just cruious about this:

We have taken 10 cruises so far, all on DCL (so now we're Platinum, yay!). We've been on all 4 ships. Speaking for myself, I love them all (did a b2b on the Dream in Feb. and we had a great time). We really like the longer itineraries (WBTA, Hawaii, WBPC) that have a lot of sea days. This cruise will be a shock to our systems w/all those ports in only 7 days!

Just wanted to say I updated the ROLL CALL List on the webpage....can't believe we are closing in on 30 cruisers for this cruise...how exciting!!! Still have a long way to go and I am sure our group will grow!

Thanks for doing this. Now I know we belong! :thumbsup2

How many cruises has everyone taken and with what cruise lines?

To date, 7 cruises .. Number 8 is in June (Hi lllpath ... I believe we are cruising together again). I have number 9 booked on the Fantasy next year and that will make this cruise number 10. :)

Hi Joanne and Wayne ... Going to be nice cruising with you two again!!! :)

This will be our 9th cruise, all on Disney. We like aft starboard verandah rooms.

We leave one week from today to go down to Florida and look for a home in the Orlando area near Mickey. We'll be moving soon. I'm so excited.

We're keeping our home in the Poconos because John's adult son, John, will be living here. I call him the kid just so I don't get them confused.

In Florida, we're looking for a yearly rental. We want a house with a pool and we really want a 4BR 3BA. We expect to have lots of guests. All of our friends love the mouse too!

So wish us some luck in finding the house of our dreams. I will keep you updated on how our luck is going.

:wave2: Joanne, We were in San Juan this past November on the Fantasy. We really enjoyed this port and did everything on our own. We saw so much everything is pretty much within walking distance to the port. We found it to be clean and safe. We are planning to only arrive the day before.
