P.S. Was it easy to "drive" the surrey bikes? I wanted to try that with my family, but DH said it looked very heavy to pedal around in so we didn't. Men!!

I'm here!!! Love it soo far!!! We stayed at CBR when DD was a baby. We were in Jamaica and the room was pretty nice. I haven't been back since though. I was thinking about trying out the pirate suites but if the pool is slammed like that w/o anyone keeping an eye on things I might just wait a while 'til the newness wears off. Your baby was probably trampled by one of the bullies on the slides! Poor little guy. At least he didn't let it damper his attitude. I love the pics of you guys on the surrey bikes! Those things are cool. I wish I had one here at home.

I wanna hear more about Wolfgang Pucks...is it more like a table service there? I thought I saw in some reports people eating off of regular plates? It's a counter service though, right?

Can't wait for the GG at AK....I hope ya get it up tonight.

I love Goofy's Candy Co for the make-your-own treats! I was sad we never had a chance to head over there this trip! I will definitely go in December. I love the pretzels, but that chocolate fudge cookie is calling to me! Yumm!

It's so hard not going to the MK on the first day, isn't it? I can't wait to see what you guys end up doing....

We didn't have any luck getting a Christmas picture either Maybe someday...

You're making me sooo hungry for one of those Goofy's treats. We might try to do that at our next family party. Seems really easy to copy and set up at home!

I agree you could make those treats at home. Would be fun to do in the winter. I really wanted to get a cute picture for Christmas cards. the surrey bikes were that hard just getting up the hills took a little more work.

Yay Nichole! You're updating like crazy!! I have never been to Goofy's Candy Co. I might have to check it out in December. Looks yummy. More please!

In December when you go with the girls you have to go and make some treats.

Thanks Jen. I love your Solo trip report BTW. It wasn't too hard with 2 people pedaling. I'm sure you and your Dh would be fine. The bike is not really that heavy at all.

It would be fun to have one of those Surrey bikes at home .CBR is nice enough and the new pool is great. It's just the parte ship play area gets kind of crazy, it looks empty in my pics. Wolfgang Pucks is alot like a TS. Except you go to the cashier to order and then they give you a number and you sit at a table and wait for them to bring it to you. Also they refill your drinks or get you anything you need. The food was good for counter service. Yes you get regular plates too . I'm probably not going to be able to update for a day or two because my photos aren't done yet and I haven't even finished unpacking . DH will be so annoyed if he still sees suitcases not unpacked and put away and I have sat on the computer all day and not cooked anything since we came home. Did I mention how lucky you girls with men that cook are .

The surrey bike was easy excpet when you had to pedal uphill. The treats at goofy's looked really good. The kids ate most of them and then threw them away the next day. Not taking them to Mk was hard because they were actually asking when we were going there . I like to finish the trip at MK at least most of the time.

Thanks for reading and to my trippie. Everything went great with the group. Mostly because we had our own family time too and only did some things together. We would have spent way more time together with our friends if Thomas hadn't been sick. I think the GG events are really fun! I'm sure you will have a good time. I will try and get our AK day and night posted tomorrow.

Just noticed I forgot two things in my last update. First is a picture of Thomas outside once Upon A Toy. I went back and added it in.

Also I forgot to mention that the kids meals at CBR come in little sand buckets with a shovel. My kids thought that was the best! I will try to post and update today or tomorrow latest.

I didn't know there were Surrey bikes at CBR! That's something we want to try at BW.

Sorry Thomas got hurt!! But it's funny he, nor daddy, even noticed! Joey is the same way, blood running down his knee, and he won't stop playing.

I vote for MK tomorrow!!

I am finally caught up on your first day! It looks like that was a wonderful and relaxing day. CBR looks really beautiful, so I am anxious to hear how you enjoyed the resort overall. We are already looking at resorts for next year, and I think we will be going with a moderate. Right now I am leaning towards POFQ due to its smaller size, but I am interested in CBR because it does look pretty Can't wait to hear about your first park day!!

I know they grow up so fast. I thought i would be miserable not staying at Poly or WL this year but we liked CBR just fine. For the bounceback I booked BC for next year. But who knows we might wait for next December instead and go during the holiday season. The Pirate ship was really cute but for some it was a giant babysitter.

I'm not sure if I took a picture of it or not . I still have the buckets though . I got better with the food pictures as the week went on, for dinner at least. Breakfast and Lunch we were usually rushing abit. buffets are usually hard for me too. It was funny all the weird looks you get when you take food pics . the waiter in Italy thought I was nuts, LOL. I just have to put away all the clean clothes and I'm done. So I will try to update tomorrow morning . But I will tell you I did like the Safari dinner because it was different but I think the Fireworks pirate cruise was more fun.

Thanks Ashley. We had a fun day. We liked CBR and no issues at all. We unfortunately had housekeeping issues on one of our Poly stays but the other was perfect. I guess that can happen at any resort. POFQ is supposed to be nice but i like tropical themes best. but for next year it will be WL or BC for us. Unless I need to book a moderate again then we will just go back to CBR.

Yeah, only 418 days left to go! I've been in contact with the DFTW coordinator for DCL and they have this annoying 12 month rule, so i'm trying to patiently wait until atleast November before i really start to annoy her.
