Hi Nichole! I was thinking about you guys, so I went back and looked at your itinerary and I can't believe your trip is almost over! I hope you had lots of pixie dust and a GREAT trip. I can't wait to hear all about it!

First I want to say thanks so much for wishing us a great trip. We are home and exhausted. We had a good time but Thomas got a 104 fever on Tuesday nght and had to spend most of 2 days in the room. Tom took him to Celebration hospital and they didn't find anything wrong with, just the high fever . So they just gave him a prescription of Amoxicillin. By Saturday night I started feeling Flu like too, and Kaylee threw up on the ride home , but is fine now. Today will be Dr. visits and lots of rest for the three of us.

For those wondering, we did like CBR alot. The new pool was really nice and the resort was pretty. the new Nemo rooms are very cute. The only thing I'm not crazy about was buses to every park. I like the MK and Epcot area resorts better for that reason. We took tons of pics and I will updating in a day or two when I feel better and get caught up on Laundry .

Thank you both. Kaylee is fine now, maybe she ate something that didn't agree with her. Luckily she only got sick once on the ride. Thomas was feeling 100 % better by Friday. I have a Dr. appt in a couple hours.

Yes they grow up so fast . Glad you found me. Sometimes thomas smiled, other times he hid or just refused to smile. Just depended on who the photographer was and how he was feeling at the time . i'm coming over to your trip report to get caught up. It will be good reading while I'm sitting around not doing laundry or unpacking . I'm just wiped out.

Luckily by Friday he was feeling 100 % better. Wednesday was a wash out for us and Thursday he started feeling a bit better. I wanted to spend more time chatting with you but figured you were probably busy trying get a some things done in MK. Your little Emily is so adorable! I thought at first that had to be Katie because she is tiny. It was a great night though and not crowded at all.

Friday October 3, our Departure day...

This day was pretty uneventful. Just last minute packing and quick house cleaning because I don't like to come home to a mess. Tommy took the dogs to Grandma's so I didn't have to take and hour of my time taking them there . We left earlier than we orginally planned since Kaylee stayed home from school and Tommy left work before lunch. The kids and I packed the car and we left home around 11:30 AM. Since it was lunch time I just let the kids eat lunchables in the car I know it's a really unhealthy lunch but it was easy for the car ride.

They really wanted to drive straight to Disney. So I canceled our hotel in Valdosta. We were on a mission to keep driving and get there Friday night. We stopped for dinner around 5PM and of course the kids wanted McDonalds which I think is nasty since the only fastfood I eat is Chick Fil A.

We thought about stopping around 8:30 in Gainesville but decided to just keep going. Tom and I couldn't decide if we should just stay at a value resort for the night or a DTD hotel. I decided to call Doubletree in DTD and book a room.

We still had to drive under the Disney gates though even though we could have taken a shorter route straight to the hotel . Thomas was sleeeping since it was 10:00 PM. Kaylee woke up just as we were getting on 429. I wish I had a picture of the smile on her tired face as she saw this....

We got to Doubletree around 10:30. They even have a kids check in area where they give them goody bags. Here is Kaylee in the room with hers. She looks miserable but i think her daddy just finished yelling at her for something .(I apologize for the red in the pic, tommy still needs to edit them)

The rooms here were like suites and they had a seperate living room, kitchenette and 2 flat screen TV'S. It was much nicer than a value resort but just didn't have that Disney feel to it. They did have a Disney giftshop in the lobby though.

The kids fell asleep quickly knowing they would be at Caribbean Beach Resort in the morning and would have a full day to relax at Disney. Of course I was overly tired and didn't sleep much.

Great start Nichole! Woo-Hoo for being soooo close to WDW! Don't worry about the lunchables, anything goes on vacation right! Poor Kaylee looks tired and sad in that pic. I am glad you started and can't wait for more!
