Has anyone used the planner available to download from the Disney site?

I just downloaded it and it seems pretty neat. I am planning a trip for my side of the family for next October and this seems like a great way to get everyone's ideas.

We're sorta using it for a 11 person/3 family trip over Christmas. We haven't used used it a lot since downloading it because other than flights and resorts, we don't have a lot of details planned yet. The software isn't bad, though it does have some quirks. With the "chat" feature for example, it's fun to see what relatively innocent words it will "bleep" out (such as "hot").

Thanks Geoff! "Hot" is a bad word in my vocab also....I like cool weather better.

Have you had any trouble with the favorites section? I've marked a few favorites on the website. I believe that they were supposed to go automatically to the planner but I haven't seen anything there.

We've had occasional problems with favorites disappearing en masse and then reappearing on later log-ins. I think the problems is related to log-in problems with the main WDW site that occurs in the background.

Also, my counter says 0 days till my trip. Maybe it can't go past a certain #? The big family trip I'm planning isn't until next October, so it's a long way away.

Hey Amy- I have the software downloaded also and have been using (well trying to use) it. I think that there are some problems going on with it right now. I too am having a problem with the favorites. I lost all the ones I had and when I try and add new ones, they do not populate. I have sent out an e-mail to Disney asking about it, but have not yet received a response. I do hope they get it fixed. I loved the idea that you could put all those in and schedule them for certain days and then print everything out. I think they have a great concept, but at present it does not seem to be operating very well.
