Magical Gathering

Can anyone give me any information about Magical Gatherings?

My family is planning a trip to DisneyWorld in April. I have been given a Magical Gathering code number but have not been able to find out what it can do for us.

This is new to Disney - Any group of 8 or more people, ages 3 & up, are given a code and dubbed a "Magical Gathering".

Your group will supposedly be given a priority with rooms next to or near each other.

In addition, on Disney's website, you will find the following:
- A mini site where you can all work together and organize your groups "must see" lists, etc.
- If a minimum of 8 people attend, there are 4 "special" outings you can only participate in if you are a designated "Magical Gathering" group. If I recall correctly, there is a special Dinner & Safari at AK, a special character breakfast at MK, a dinner w/seating for Illuminations at Epcot, and a Pirate Cruise with the fireworks at MK.

All of these carry a charge ranging between $20 or so, and $70.

You also will be switched to operators that specifically assist with the Magical Gathering info.
