Magical Express to rental car NOT flight???

We are flying into Orlando and driving a rental car back home. When I arrive I will take Magical Express to the hotel as I cant pick up the car until 3 days later (special deal). Can I take Magical express back to the airport to get the rental car? I don't want to be dishonest, do I need a flight?

I don't think so. We have had different members of our party arrive and depart on different days of the reservation. Just tell them you have a flight on x day and need to be at the airport. You might even want to find a flight around the appropriate pick up time. As long as your group will not need to use the service to get back to the airport at the end of your trip you should be fine.

You are not being dishonest. Magical Express takes any Disney's resort guest to MCO on check out day.

Just that having a flight, any flight, any airline, in mind makes the booking/reservation process go more smoothly.

why not book a car at the Dolphin resort (alamo/Nat) and pick it up there. No need to go back to MCO. Unless it's a really good deal

Where does Magical express drop you off, how would i get from there to the rental cars?

Disney's Magical Express drops you off at the ground transportation level (bottom level) at Orlando International. The motorcoach makes two stops -- one on the Terminal "A" side and one on the Terminal "B" side.

If your rental car company has counters in the terminal, they're also on the ground transportation level.

If you're using Hertz or another off-airport rental car provider, you can catch a shuttle on the ground transportation level.
