Magical Express tags for Canadians

Hi everyone,

I am leaving in just over a month and have yet to receive my Magical Express luggage tags. I wondered how far in advance they are normally sent?

I won't be receiving Magic Bands as I am in Canada, but hoping the tags arrive soon.

Normally we get them about 3 weeks out although they are usually sent to our TA. If you don't get them about 3 weeks out, I'd contact them to find out where they are.

It was about 3 weeks for us this summer.

3 weeks is the present norm. If you used a TA, the TA will receive them along with the Magic Your Way package booklet (if you booked the MYW pkg). If you booked yourself directly with WDW, then you will receive the tags & info directly in the mail. My last one came via Canada Post regular mail.

We leave Sept 20th. We were told they were holding Canadian Mail until there was final word on the pending Canada Post strike. However my husband called last Thursday and, although they insisted that it would be fine without the tags if you gave your claim ticket to the Magical Express staff, he asked to be put through to the people that send the tags. Ours hadn't been processed yet - but they advised to ease his mind they could send them now and we can expect them in 7-10 days.

Thanks for the info! I hadn't thought about the postal strike. I will give them a call and make sure they get sent

I think the same may happen to me! I called this morning and apparently they were mailed on Friday

Remember to bring your letter with you, DH lost ours but thankfully I had our reservation # handy and they were able to look us up.
