I was wondering if anyone knew what color the magical express tags are for the magic kingdom area resorts?
I believe they are all yellow in color.
I am staying at Ft Wilderness, which is considered at MK resort, and our luggage tags we got yesterday are yellow.
All DME luggage tags are bright yellow. They can't have people at the airport looking out for 4 different colors of Disney tags on the "first pass" of pulling DME luggage from the rest of the luggage. Keeping it to one color substantially reduces the risk of error.
The resort "area" really only matters for luggage routing, not for buses and passengers.
And by the way ... strange but true ... Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, for DME purposes, is designated as a Downtown Disney (DD) area resort, not an MK area resort. The entrance to FW is just down the road from OKW and the Port Orleans resorts. Like I said, strange but true.
They weren't Disney's Magical Express luggage tags. I don't know what they were, but they weren't DME tags. I know you won't believe me, but I'm 100% sure of this.We have stayed at POFQ and the tags were yellow but my husband has been on the T in Boston and seen people headed for logan with magical express tags on there bags and said he has seen blue one's and I think green so I was wondering what color the Magic kingdom resorts were, I really need to kind out because we have a trip planned and the resort is a secret to a few peolpe in our group and i would like to keep it that way til we get to orlando and I dont want the color of the tags to give it away.

The name of your resort is quite literally spelled-out on the tag. In addition, there will also be a 2-letter code inside a Mickey head silhouette: MK for Magic Kingdom area resorts, EC for Epcot area resorts, AK for Animal Kingdom area resorts, and DD for Downtown Disney area resorts. But like I said, more importantly, if you are staying at Fort Wilderness it will actually say "Fort Wilderness" on there. It will also have your name, your reservation number, a couple barcodes, etc.
I have no idea what your husband saw, but I absolutely guarantee you that if he saw tags that were fully green or fully blue then they were not DME tags. No chance. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be argumentative, but it's just a fact that ALL DME tags are yellow.

she asked a question she wasnt running around yelling "All tags arent yellow! crucify anyone who doesnt beleive!"

I'm not one to use smileys too much, but I DID put in the post that I wasn't being argumentative. I like giving complete answers because it's my belief that if someone knows the FULL STORY they can understand something better than simply, "Because I said so." It's my hope that if I know the answer, that I can satisfactorily convey it so that that person doesn't need to wonder about any loose ends.she asked a question she wasnt running around yelling "All tags arent yellow! crucify anyone who doesnt beleive!"
