I'm still not positive I understand this. Probably easy questions for someone who's been there. I purchased a Disney package deal for me and my daughter including the ME. We arrive on an early flight (11:00 AM at ORL). Included in the package was the magic your way pass. Can we go straight to one of the parks since our room will probably not be ready or do we still need to check-in first at the resort or anywhere else for that matter?

Magical Express will take you right to your hotel. You'll see happy ME staff with big Mickey hands directing you to the ME check-in line. You wait for your bus and then get magically whisked away to your hotel.

You will need to check into your hotel for your Keys to the World cards. These serve as your tickets into the parks as well as your room keys. However, you can then take Disney transportation to the park of your choice. Your luggage (having been outfitted with the special tags that will be sent to you by Disney) will magically appear in your room when you return!

I've used this several times and never had a problem. Occassionally you'll hear of an issue, but for me it's been a great service.

Magical Express will take you from the airport to your Resort. I would suggest that you go ahead and check in when you get to the resort. If your room is not ready they will go ahead and check you in and give you a card with a number to call to see if your room is ready. After that you are free to go where ever you want!

Hmmmmm. Your Magic Your Way Pass was in the things you already recieved??? Did you order straight through Disney? If you are on a Disney package you don't get your Park Tickets until you arrive and check in--meaning you would HAVE to check in before going to the parks.

But if you booked a room only and tickets extra were they mailed to you? Then you are under no obligation to check in when Magical Express drops you off at the resort. You can just jump on another bus or the monorail or a boat (depending on your resort) and head off. But I really recommend you check in first so that your room will be assigned and your luggage will hopefully be in there when you get back. It is always better to check in earlier than later.

I checked in at pop at 0730 in the morning and my room was ready. . .so you never know. . .go ahead and check in. . .that way they will assign a room to you.

Magical Express will NOT take you to a park.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry for the confusion, I don't phsically have the magic your way pass, I just meant they were included as part of the pkg. But the important point for me is that I at least have to stop at the resort for these room keys which are also my park pass. Since we arrive early (11:00 AM) and odds are that the room isn't ready, can I still get these keys and go to the parks, or how long do I have to wait just toget the keys?.

As soon as you get there, check in and you will be given your room keys which is also you park pass and you can head right to the parks. Have a great time!

Even if your room isn't ready, you can get the room keys and go to the parks. You may need to stop by the front desk on your way back from the parks to have them coded to the room. We had to do that once but that was a couple of years ago. The quick answer is you can get your keys whether or not the room is ready and start having fun!
