Magical Express question

We will be flying to Fl. in July but won't be checking into DVC resort till a week later since we will be staying in someone's house and renting a car the first week. Can I still use the magical express the day that we land? Can I have the Magical Express take me to WDW, so my friend can pick me up at the park which is closer to the house rather than having him come to the airport. I know you have to provide flight info in order to get Magical Express which I do have, the only difference is I'll be arriving before the resort check in date.

I don't believe this is possible to do. They link the DME request to your reservation as well. So if you fly to MCO one day but won't check in to WDW until a week later, they will probably flag that as incompatible. You can always call DME to find out, but I don't think they would allow this.

You mentioned that you were renting a car that first week, so you found somewhere cheaper to get the car rather than the airport? (otherwise why not just ge the car there and drive to your friends place?)

We going with different group of people and they will be there first. The plan was that they will come pick us up at the airport, but i figured if the ME can takes us to wdw, maybe can save him that long drive.
