Some of our group is arriving on earlier flights than us and (hopefully), they will get us all checked in at All-Stars and they will have our carryons and will store them with Bell Services. We'll use the yellow tags and let ME transfer our luggage.

Once we land, and we confirm all the checkin stuff is OK, we want to do one of the following, whichever may be quicker.

Magical Express to Pop Century, then bus to Magic Kingdom. (From what I've read, Pop Century is always the first ME stop)

Magical Express to Contemporary, then walk to Magic Kingdom. (Contemporary may not be the first stop with ME, but a quick walk to MK).

We'll meet the rest of our group at MK and get our resort IDs from them.

What do ya'll think??

Since DME was designed to get you to YOUR resort, I think you'll have to take the bus to YOUR resort, and then from there to a park. Will you be able to talk a CM or two into letting you on a different bus? No way to know until you try it, but if I were you I wouldn't plan on it. Depends if things are very crowded, as well as the CMs realizing you're not trying to scam anything or anyone, you're just trying for maximum convenience.

Does each adult have to be at (or go to) the check in desk to receive his parkpass/roomkey?

You mean like at the resort? No, only one adult (I guess the "named" person on the ressie) has to go to the check in desk. My FIL and I had 2 separate ressies. We went up to the same check-in CM at CBR, we each checked in, he got the room keys/park passes for himself and my MIL, and I got them for myself, my wife, and my child over 2. The CM didn't know where my wife and MIL were and didn't care.

[I'm just confused why you're asking this here....]
