Magical Express Problem

I booked ME for our August trip months ago. We got our packet on June 23 but it was wrong. They had us only listed as taking ME on our return flight and we didn't get luggage tags.

I called DVC Member services and told them. They had entered our arrival flight wrong so the system didn't accept it therefore no luggage tags or arrival information was entered. The said they corrected the problem and would send out the tags.

Almost a month has passed and still no ME packet or tags. I called today and they still didn't have the arrival flight. I gave them my flight numbers and they said that my flight number was showing invalid on their system.

I checked with southwest and my flight number is indeed valid. All of a sudden they said it accepted my flight number and they would send out the new information.

I'm not convinced that we will receive the tags and vouchers since it has already been messed up twice.

What should we do?
 
If you don't receive your luggage tags in time, have the ones that the airline gave you when you check into your home airport. I am drawing a blank as to what that is called.

I added a fourth friend a few years back at the last minute; we only had luggage tags for three people. They told us just to bring the fourth person baggage claim ticket.... ah, I remembered... and all of our luggage arrived at the same time about three hours later!
 
Get and write down the name and city of people you talk to over the phone.

If you call them again because you still didn't receive your tags, ask if they can express the tags to you anyway. Now you will have two sets of name and city to show them if it turns out they don';t even have your reservation when yuou arrive in Orlando.

(With the CM name and city information you give them they should put you on the bus anyway although something in writing, even a partial packet, is better.)

I would call DVC member services tommorow and have them cancel the whole reservation. Then go on line to the DVC member site and do the magical express request as a new request, when you get to the part where they ask if you have given the flight info previously check no. I have done 4 reservations for DME through DVC , the only time the reservation got messed up was when I called member services when I do it through the form on the member site everything is perfect. I don't know why but it was. It takes a day or two but DVC will email you that they made your reservations. I made the request for my upcomming August trip on June 27 and I recieved my packet with my luggage tags on July 9. It is worth a try.
