Magical Express ? HELP PLZ

I am planning to arrive at MCO after a week at the shore. I will be dropping a rental car off and would like to use the Magical Express to a Disney resort. And then, of course use it back to MCO for my outgoing flight. It is not seeming possible to book it online myself. I called yesterday and the girl said I could do this and to call back and make the ressie with them, and that they could make a notation in the reservation. Now today, I cannot get any help. The reps are refusing to make a reservation since my flight doesn't "arrive" the day I need to use the express. Any thoughts or ideas as to how I can possibly make this happen? TIA

Disney's Magical Express (DME) provides transportation between MCO and Disney-operated WDW resorts, regardless of now you arrive at the airport. I've returned a rental car at the airport and then used DME (when I had a rate that made it much less expensive to return the car at the airport instead of at WDW).

Contact Disney's Magical Express Guest Services at 866-599-0951. The agents there know more about DME than typical WDW agents.

Another thing that people do is to provide flight details for a flight that gets into the airport about when they want use DME. It really shouldn't be necessary to do this, but it's not cheating. It's a way to get around WDW reservationists who don't know that you don't need to arrive at the airport by air. Disney only uses the flight information to plan DME capacity and staffing based on when passengers are arriving.

However, there's a more convenient option...

I would recommend looking into returning your car at a location on or near WDW property.

Drive to your WDW resort. Check in. Unload your car. Then only the driver has to return the car. The local rental car company location will drive the driver back to the resort.

It's much more convenient than having to go to MCO and wait for DME.

Then use DME one-way only to get to the airport at the end of your WDW stay.

Yay!! So helpful to call DME!!! They were so helpful and had no problem handling my request! I am dropping the car at Dollar because the rate is too good to change now--- So just booked the room online without ME, then called that number and they noted my reservation and added my return flight info!
Man those agents at that other number were not nice, and really do not have accurate information. Happy it can work, I think I deserve a ride over after all $ Disney is getting from my family, years after years!! LOL
Anyone with any issues or questions about the Magical Express should just call them directly.
