Magical Express - Different Pick up/ Drop off?

I will be staying at POP and travelling by ME. On the day I leave I wanted to eat at Chef Mickeys and then take ME from the Contemporary. Will the ME let you do that?

If not, If I can get a Chef Mickey reservation for 8:30, how much time should I allow for Breakfast, and then transport back to POP (Monorail and bus?).

I would guess that if I have to back to Pop, I would need have a reservation at Chef Mickeys about 5.5 hours before flight time ( 1.5 to eat, 1 for travel to POP and then 3 hours for ME before flight Time)

Currently no.

You can only arrive via DME at your own resort and go back to the airport via DME from your own resort.

Allow 7-1/2 hours before flight time to make your restaurant reservation.

Two hours to be seated, served, eat, and pay. One and a half hours to get back to your resort. Shoot to be back at your resort an hour before your bus time or four hours before your plane time.

Better: Arrange your DME bus back to the airport 4 hours before flight time. Don't make an ADR. Eat breakfast at the airport.

The 5-1/2 hours before flight time might work if you are seated on time although you may still have to plan on taking a taxi instead of monorail/bus back to your resort.

Nope, it's not allowed. It could be an option down the road, but as of now...it's no.
If you get an 8:30 ADR, at Chef Mickeys, you should be done eating by 9:30-9:45...never takes me 90 mins to eat, but you may take longer so plan accordingly. Then, walk over to MK (10 mins), hop on the POP bus (wait could be as long as 20 mins or as short as 2), then 10 mins back to POP. You need to be at the DME bus stop no later than 15 mins before your appointed pickup time.
So, with these numbers in mind...
8:30 ADR.....8:30-10:00
10:00-10:15...walk back to MK
10:15-10:30...wait for bus
10:30-10:50...ride to POP
10:50-11:15...get stuff out of storage (carryon bags, etc.)
11:15-11:25....out at the DME bus stop, ready to go.

So, a p/u time anytime after 11:30 would 'most likely' work. That would be a bit too close for me...I like to have a bit more time, but you could do it. A p/u time of after 12:30 would be a better thing...just to be on the safe side.

You could always take a taxi back to Pop from the Contemp if you're running short on time...
