Magical Express and DVC

The new Magical Express perk looks incredible for those who don't need a rental car. My question is, if you're staying on points, do we get to use the perk? The press release says that the service is part of the new "magic your way" package. Sounds like that leaves us out. I realize this is a brand new service, so it's too soon to know the details, but I'm hoping someone will get an answer eventually. Thanks.

I need a rental car so the only way im going to use that perk is if my family drives down and I fly.I use the shuttle and the price is cheap enough for 1 person.

Yes, Magical Express will be avilable to DVC members. Digger68 sent an email to MS and received this reply:

Thank you for contacting Member Services.

Yes. With the exception of Disney's Vero Beach Resort and Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort, all Disney Vacation Club Resorts are included in Disney's Magical Express.

Of course I would expect the DVC RESORTS to be included in this perk, but that does NOT say that DVC members staying on points will be able to use the Magical Express. I would be curious as to the specific question that was asked, because the answer does NOT actually say that DVC members staying on points can use the service.

True, but the answer did come from MS - and they only make reservations for DVC members. Can't believe they wouldn't just assume a DVC member was asking about a member using the service for a DVC stay reserved through them - why else would a member ask MS?? LOL!
