"Magical Day" Kidnapped!

I was more surprised to hear the CM at the train station in Toon Town telling everyone on the train to have a 'Disney Day' - if a conversation I had with a CM is to be believed that is their equivalent of telling someone to f-off. Now, this might not be true (I'm taking the word of one CM) but it sure surprised me to hear it!

I've also heard that from a former CM. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

it certainly won't be because I've been at Chokey Cheese! :rotfl: :rotfl2: Definately the wrong mouse for me! :lmao:

The OP said it was meant as "tongue in Cheek", that's precisely how I took it. "How dare they 'steal' a very Disney-like phrase!" :rotfl2:

My quote on my MSN messenger is "A bad day at Disney is better than a good day anywhere!" That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Is this true? Is it something all CMs know about? I'm in shock  I mean now that I know this how would I act if someone said this. :confused3 Please let me know if this is a joke. :guilty:

I love that a bad disney day is better than a good day anywhere else - that is so true !!

We were at Chuck E Cheese's on Thursday. The only phrase I heard was, "Get over here before I whoop your butt!!!!!!"

Seriously, never again!

"Have a Disney Day"?!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Now, I am all about the magic, but maybe I am a little bit of a cynic, and I kinda feel for the CM's standing outside in the hot FL sun (makes me cranky too) with way too much time to people watch (think of all the wrong things you've seen), and I really, really think this is funny, and if I ever catch a CM saying have a Disney Day I'm telling them that i know their secret!!! :rotfl2:

This is seriously the funniest thing I have heard all day. Thank you whoever it was that clued me in!!

I wanted to check on that after reading this post. My brother was a CP who returned several times over the years to keep his CM status. He also has several close friends who are FT CMs. Maybe certain CMs use that phrase sarcastically to show disdain for some guests, but my brother never knew anyone that used the phrase that way, and had not heard of others doing so (BTW, he worked at MK, Skyway, so I don't know if that's maybe an inside joke at another park).

The only reason I want to mention this is so no one will be told that by a CM and assume the CM is annoyed with them!
