Does anyone know if there are any current offerings for discounts on the cafepress site? I haven't ordered our things from there yet and thinking that I better get on it!

Does anyone know if there are any current offerings for discounts on the cafepress site? I haven't ordered our things from there yet and thinking that I better get on it!

I ordered mine earlier this week and they were shipped yesterday - can't wait to get them but I'll have to make sure the kids don't find them. For those who have ordered from CafePress before, do they wash well? My guys like their shirts washed before they wear them so I want to do that...

I didn't find any coupon codes or offers for cafe press this week - i missed the october ones.

I ordered shirts and a bag from Cafepress for our cruise three years ago and still wear the t-shirt (I wore it earlier this week in fact). Looks great after years of washing!

Our shirts arrived today - they are so awesome! Thanks to all for the designs and especially to Diana for getting the shop set up!

Hi folks! I'm back...I've had some medical problems and then a trip to WDW with just me and hubby for F&W festival. You all have so many posts that I can't get a chance to read them tonight but I thought I would stop by and say hi.

Now that we are in November the cruise is coming up quickly and we are so excited. I'm looking forward to catching up on what is planned and meeting all of you next month.

Hey Everyone and welcome back Laurie!

Nothing earth-shattering to contribute tonight, just wanted to check in and wish everyone a happy weekend.:yay: We're at the six week mark today, too. Six weeks from right now we'll be soaking up the holiday spirit at Epcot.

I'll be working on the Secret Santa stuff this weekend. Not too many people have signed-up. I'll make one last call for participants and tie the deadline to the Tuesday, Nov. 11 deadline for fish extenders. If you want to play Secret Santa, please PM me.

Renee -- we should have a little precruise lunch one day if you've got the kind of job that allows for you to get away during the day. Let me know.

Did we pick a day yet to wear our t-shirts? DH asked if we were supposed to wear them on Christmas - I told him I didn't think so but that we hadn't set a day to wear them. I was thinking if we didn't wear them on boarding day (since a lot of people like to wear special clothes for boarding) that maybe Monday would be a good day as that is our non-christmas-day sea day and we have a couple of events already planned for that morning. Any thoughts???

Oh - in my stuff from CafePress, there is a $5 off coupon -- use the code NEWLOOK at checkout to save $5 off purchases of $50 or more. Hope someone(s) can use it.

Hello!
The water for snorkling is between 5 feet till about 15 feet deep.
No to worry, different areas are marked for beguiners and experienced.
Regardless everybody HAS to use a Snorkling vest.
if you are not a strong swimmer then you can inflate it more.
If you like dipping down to check things out you just put a little air on the vest.
It is very family friendly and there are several lifegard post along the route.

It is fun finding the Hidden Mickeys underwater!!!!!!

That is a shame that there aren't very many people interested in the Secret santa exchange. I can definately understand why, I have been trying to figure out how I am going to get everything in suitcases and get all of the suitcases from the car to the airport. Wow, I think I am overpacking!

If you decide not to do the Secret Santa exchange my heart won't be broken. Just let me know.

Have a great evening and rest of weekend! I am going to see Celine Dion in concert tomorrow night, my friend got tickets and asked me to join her and her daughters - a girls night out :woohoo:

This time in six weeks, we'll be sailing, sailing, sailing on our way to Castaway Cay! We'll have met each other face-to-face. We'll have had our first dinner (or be finishing up), seen our first show, and seeing our first towel animal :)

awesome thought! i can picture it now..........:cheer2:

it's not really that far away :hourglass

i wonder how we'll spend the first night :scratchin

Good evening all!! I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!!

I went shopping with the kids this afternoon and got ALL their clothes for the cruise. We are going to start packing tomorrow. I want to take a final inventory of what we have and what I still need to get.

I have two more events to attend prior to cruise time: another quinceneara on 11/29/08 (although I am not involved in this one, Thank God:rolleyes: ), and a wedding of a co-worker on 12/6/08. I am going to wear the same outfit to both that I will be wearing on formal night.

I think wearing our shirts on the first sea day sounds good, because we have different Disney t-shirts that we will be wearing on boarding day. Has everyone bought their shirts? As far as I can tell, it's only me and Cindy that have purchased them???

Mitchell's 12th birthday is tomorrow. I am taking him and 3 of his friends for pizza and a movie. My best friend, Criselda is going with me to "man the troops".:lmao: Her 15 y.o. daughter, my 15 y.o. daughter are also going to help manage my 4 y.o. daughter:cutie: who has begged to go. Wish me luck!

Hello all, it has been a while since I have last posted. Football has been a main focus for us lately. Connor just finished his first year of football last weekend and Nick is playing today for the NH state championship! We have been busy making signs for the players front yards, putting together tailgate parties, and all that fun stuff. If they win today, they'll be going to the regional New England playoffs which start next weekend. Nick's b-day was Nov. 1, and we haven't been able to celebrate with friends yet b/c of football. He just looks at it as a long b-day celebration!

This cruise is really starting to be a reality. I have to get going and finish all my shopping and finish my friend/neighbor's FE. We did manage to get Drew a pirate costume on sale this year, so we will all be dressed up for Pirate night.

We'll that's about it from here. I have to go finish making my meatballs for the tailgate party today. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. We have order our t-shirts and other items from cafepree. The first sea day sounds like a good day for everyone to wear them. That might also be a good day to meet and do a group photo as the we board always seems to be rushed. Cindy that was a good thought of where we will be in 6 weeks. I'm so excited about this trip it's all we talk about at home now.

Good Morning Fellow Cruisers,
We have had a very laid back weekend, which is exactly what we needed. I got a lot of my papers for school done. I think the girls really enjoy having a weekend every now and then where we have absolutely nothing to do.

I am going to order our t-shirts soon. I have to convince dh to wear one. If I show it to him now, he will totally refuse. He will hopefully come around when he sees other men wearing them that day at sea. So I will just pack it for him and then bring it out that day.

Speaking of packing. I don't know how some of you pack so far in advance. I would love to be able to do that. I have a little set aside of pirate stuff and FE stuff. Other then that, I can't even think about packing yet until my semester is over on Dec. 4th. Then I will do everything I need to for the cruise.

I did make a countdown calander for the girls while they were at school on Friday. They were so excited to see it.

Everyone have a great week.

Angie

Angie - my DH is much the same way about matching t-shirts, but I showed it to him and he liked it ok (I don't think he'll wear it out when we're home, but he will wear it on whatever day onboard I tell him he needs to wear it on the ship). I don't know if he will come to a group picture, either - he's not a scrooge - just doesn't quite "get" the whole meet everyone thing. But he'll come to the meet-and-greet on Saturday for a bit because I'll ask him to come since I'm hosting... and when we did the one on the Med cruise last summer, he really enjoyed meeting folks and it was nice to see people throughout the week that were "connected" to our group.

I really want to get a good family picture made while onboard so I need to figure out what day would be good to plan to do that. I don't want formal - just all of us with our hair combed and faces washed :) I'm starting now to tell DH and the boys that sometime over Christmas break that I want us to get a picture made together as a family. The boys asked at lunch today if we were going to go to a beach over the holidays because we usually do. I told them we'd "see what we can do." LOL.

I'm looking forward to having Tuesday off from work - it makes today a bit more laid back because I don't have to get ready for the whole week - just for one day for now. Whew.

Cindy your husband is the only reason Matt has agreed to come to the meet and greet. He grumbled at first but then when i told him ya'll would be there he was like at least I'll have someone to talk to. He would not do the t-shirt thing this time and I didn't push becuase we did get to agree to a tux. The only reason he will come to the group pictures is becasue i said he could use my camera to take it and not haev to be in it. Otherwise he will stay out of all group things becasue it is just not his thing.
