Magic Vacations Travel?

I was wondering if it normal for them taking a while to get ahold of you after you have sent in a request and called? It has been 2 days. I think this is odd for a travel agency but this may be the norm for them?. Thanks for any info!

They responded very quickly to me, but no deals for my dates...I wanted that 55% off CL at the Poly but only available for certain dates...didn't say whether or not they WOULD contact me if something good does come along. I have a feeling they have been bombarded with calls/emails b/c of all the deals they have been getting people.

I've heard that they can be difficult to get responses from. To me, the only reason for dealing with them as a TA is for the amazing room only deals that they can get.

I've contacted them three times for these types of quotes.

1st time: I didn't see why they'd need our names just for a quote so I didn't provide that on the form. They never contacted me.

2nd time: I filled on the form completely and they got the quote to me in about 2 or 3 days (I think there might have been a weekend in there).

3rd time: I filled in the form completely and they got back to me the next day (I think it was within 12 hours).

I didn't actually end up booking even though the deals were AMAZING. They just didn't work for me at those times. I'm still willing to give them a try for those deals that only they can get. For anything else, I'll stick with my current TA who is AMAZING or just book myself (I'll likely use my TA though because he made the ADRs SOOOO easy for me and got me every single one that I wanted and this is over Christmas holiday and even includes really hard to get ADRs including CRT, Le Cellier, Chef Mickey, HDDR category 2 and Spirit of Aloha category 2 at the times I wanted. My TA is the BEST)!!

Pianoronni- I am with you. They will lose my business if they don't call back today. 4/3 will be fine but really only needed 6 nights but --SIGH--I guess Iwill have to do seven.LOL

55% off CL at the Poly- wow, that is awesome! Poly concierge is my dream for May 29-31 (before we check into AKV on June 1- or BLT if I can get that at 7 months out) Do you remember if any of the dates were as far out as late May?

They got back to me within 24 hours with quotes. I simply filled out the form online. I booked through them at a fantastic price!

Yeah! I finally got a email from them. 3rd times a charm.

I know we cant post the link but I read and got my information about them on the code and rates boards. The link may still be there but just remember it may take them a while to call you back.

I just have to say that I have had nothing but great service from Magical Vacations..Lisa has been awesome and very nice. I have been able to get a hold of her through email and through the phone. There are soo many people that roll through these boards and see that there is a deal to be had ...I am sure they get a ton of emails. They are probably somewhat overwhelmed..they have been great..

Thanks for the good info Sersee. It is a great rate and during my time frame so I am going to book. It was Lisa who I got reply thru Email so I am glad you like her and had good dealings with.

I just wanted to let you guys know that Lisa responded back to the reason for the delay. She said that they are a small travel agency and with their rates being posted on the boards they get ALOT of calls and emails a day but they do TRY to respond within 24 hours but sometime takes longer because of the request. So I hope this helps anyone like me who wasn't use to dealing with a travel agency.
