Probably because they don't want to pay photographers. My last three trips, it's been very difficult to find some of the magic shots, there are many areas with no Disney photographers where they used to be.

I'm surprised at the Galaxy's Edge changes, though, given how new the area is.

I'm super sad that the porg magic shot is gone! That was the only one we wanted. Oh well!

I totally agree. I've read on a few threads guests cannot find photographers. Didn't Disney go through layoffs like a few months ago?

When you do find a PPP, politely ask them what other shots they can do. I had four different shots taken, even though they were in the same location she asked me to stand in different directions facing north, south, east and west so each photo had a different background.

The Walls at WDW

Oh boy! I haven't stayed up to date on the Walls post as I haven't seen much to post but we've got some new and creative walls and I hope you all get to experience them!

New Moana and Festival Walls Up at Epcot




Not far away there is a beautiful new wall with 5 distinct and colorful butterflies ready for you to “try on” their wings. There are wings for most height and most outfit choices.

I asked the PhotoPass to take a picture of my grandchildren in Japan with Globe behind them. They both had bottles in their hands one was from France Perrier and the other a Japanese soft drink. I joked they were too young to be drinking around the World already. When I went to purchase they had that “ Passport frame . Definitely a fun memory aka Fun with Grandma stays with Grandma. Right?

I wonder when they were completed and do they cover them up/take them down after the festival is over? I find the Walls most difficult to keep up with.

This is a great thread. As a mom of a photopass kid, my DD knows first hand how sad the photopass condition has become. Many older photographers have left since Dis introduced the "magic box" debacle. Essentially taking away the few indoor places the photopass people had a chance to work indoors! It's really sad. Please let Dis know how disappointed you are in the lack of available photographers and the "crappy" boxes!!!

I just love seeing all the options! Weve done several but missed out on some. The floating lanterns near rapunsel I missed but couldnt find the photographer. Going in 14 days and so excited!
