Magic Morning/Early open and rope drop

WDW vet first time to DL.

Is magic morning like WDW where the parks tend to be busier those days or is it not as drastic?

Also, is there a rope drop ceremony? If yes, something worth going to?

There is no rope drop ceremony that I've ever noticed.

MM/EMH does impact the park that it's occurring at first thing in the morning, but the effects tend to dissipate fairly quickly as the day goes on. I don't think the impact is all that drastic, but it can impact wait times for the rides that were open during EMH/MM when the park first opens to everyone. I tend to avoid the MM/EMH park right at opening, but do hop between the parks on a regular basis during the day.

Thanks! That is helpful. I made a ressie for BB Fantasmic and then realized it is MM/EMH at DLP and was afraid the whole day would be busy.
