The Miami campus & their reputation is what sold me & my son. I loved visiting when he needed a ride back to campus. I have a friend who kept her horse their & was on the Miami riding team.

I missed your sail away, the DH wanted to get some food & to take the dog on a hike. So off we went!

We're baaaaaack! I'll post the link to the DISmoms cruise report once we get started. The Dream was BEAUTIFUL and really exceeded my expectations in many ways, but then again, the Magic stole my heart..... I love them both for different reasons....

Looking forward to reading more about your cruise. We have the Western Itinerary on the Fantasy in November of 2013. But instead of Key West, it has Costa Maya, whatever that is.

I think Costa Maya is just south of Cancun? Not sure though, but trust me, it's got to be better than Key West for a child....

I think that's why I never even applied anywhere else. When I visited I just fell in love, and got accepted right away. So that was that! Even though I was a journalism major and I know that OU has a better journalism department, I couldn't pass up that beauty. And overall MU is such a great school!!!

What do you mean you DH wanted to eat? You need to set some priorities there!!! lol Jeff got a screen shot, as well as a couple other people. Soooo much fun!

Bowling Green ay? Well I'm not too far from that..Swanton...Jeff might've heard of that. It's west of Toledo....but if Jeff really got into the Bowling Green spirit, he knows al labout the tractor pull there. The Grand National Tractor Pull.....yep I'm a farm hick and my husband tractor pulls.

I think my sister used to live in Westerville..or she does now...I just say Columbus, but I know she really lives in the suburbs.

It's a Small world...... After all.... (are you singing now?)

OU also had all the pretty brick and white buildings, and lots of bars, and hills, and bars, and rednecks, and bars, and a pretty frickin awesome halloween party, and oh yea, lots of bars! OU, OU, OU!

I absolutely didn't want to go to BG. With Firelands College branch of BGSU only 10 minutes away, so many from my town went there, and it was just more folks from high school that i didn't like in the first place!

It's funny, living here in SC now and hearing about tractor pulls in OH..... Westerville is a GREAT community, or at least it was when I grew up there!

People don't get how many large universities in OH! Someone once tried to say that SC had more with USC and Clemson and OH only had OSU. When I started naming Miami, BG, OU, Toledo, Kent, etc.... they said, "yeah, but they are small..." Uh, nope. They are all the same size as Clemson and SCarolina..... Then you add in Dayton, Wright State, and so many others, it's crazy!!!! We Buckeyes are just so edumacated, huh?

I also have a Westerville connection. My cousins went to Otterbein. They lived in a house right on main street, right next to the police station. Gotta watch it living next to the po-po! It was a very pretty town when we visited them.

Just read the whole TR in one sitting. It made me laugh and cry! Really loved the movie you made at the end. What software program did you use? I would love to do that with my pictures from my trip and I loved the music you picked! BTW, the family shirts were really cute and your dad is quite the poet!
