Awesome video! And great last day update even though the last day is always a bummer! Those pics of Ally when your parents were leaving were killer! Poor kid!

Thank you! I had so much fun writing it!!! Working on my cruise TR now, and leaving Saturday for Orlando and then cruising Sunday for 4 nights on the Dream with the DISmoms!!!

Your texting Denny's food porn and the $0.25 Mickey ride were funny, I remember when I was a kid, maybe about 11 or so, we were down the shore (In Wildwood NJ) and we were on the boardwalk at the beginning of the evening-- if you've never been, there were 2 piers you went to where there were all kinds of rides to go on (pretty sure they are still there) and my nephew (maybe about 4 or 5 years old, he's 32 now ) saw one of those little rides at the arcade and wanted to go on it, my aunt told him, you don't want to go on that, that's a dumb ride, we'll be going on better rides soon. Well then he cried and cried, "I want to go on the dumb ride!!" LOL every time I see one of those, I think of that. --- we did eventually let him go on it on the way back to the hotel, even my Aunt went on it, we have a hilaroius pic of her sitting on the little horse or whatever it was..

Wow you leave on your DisMom's trip tomorrow?! bet you are excited!! Can't wait to hear about that trip. I can't wait to see your video, I will have to get on my other computer to watch it, my work computer won't let me watch videos...

Hi Kara, would you ask your Dad if he would give me permission to borrow some of the lines from his poems. I found them so heart warming and I think I'd like to try my hand at writing something for our October trip, just not sure I could do so from scratch. I would only use some of the lines that apply to us and only for personal use, not for duplication or commercial purposes. They really touched me!

Your dad is too cute, hiding behind his sunglasses and all that. I use that trick when I am sniffling inside the American Adventure during the final song!

Loved you TR. Didn't watch you movie yet because, well I'm home today and have groceries to put away and you said I needed a cold one. So I'll be back!

Your last sad day has me crying. Poor Miss Ally's little face is just so sad. It is wonderful you have such a close relationship with your parents! I've heard it said that grandparents and children are so close because they have a common enemy!

I will be back to read Grandpa's poems and watch the movie - I have to get to bed now. If I don't see you here before you leave - Bon Voyage and have a fabulous trip!

My parents live in North Canton now, but I went to high school in Westerville (outside Columbus) - I went to Miami University and Jeff went to Bowling Green.....

Although I think I still have a muck fiami shirt somewhere in my closet! And one of my good friends went there, and boy we had some good times partying with the frat boys there! So I wont hold it against you!

Didn't have time to watch the video today, but I'll get back to it.

I went to Miami mainly because it was the first school I visited and it was just gorgeous! "The Little Yale of the Midwest" they called it, then it made that book "The Public Ivies" - it was a great school....

Ya know, OU was my first choice because I was a journalism major, but I visited Miami first and all those 3 story red-brick buildings with white trim just got to me. It's so beautiful. I was sports editor of our school paper though so I made it to all the other MAC schools for events, and OU is pretty, too, just in a different way. I regret not making it there for Halloween though!!!!! Or was it St Patty's?

And it looks like we are neighbors. We live in Lexington, SC.

Looking forward to reading more about your cruise. We have the Western Itinerary on the Fantasy in November of 2013. But instead of Key West, it has Costa Maya, whatever that is.
