Has anyone sent her a private message about the FE Listing? If not - I am willing to send one and ask. {content edited by a moderator} I am wondering what is going on with the listing myself. Shall I try and contact her?

It is difficult to merge if you have people who are not on both boards. I am happy to keep them seperate giving people the option to be in one or the other and for those that want to they could join both x

I would prefer to stick with the Disboards list (as the other site list groups are larger and for our first FE I would prefer to stay small) but I will go with whatever is decided by the majority. .

Can we perhaps all agree on a date that a decision will be made about the FE list? I appreciate that I'm a rarity in this world by not being a member on the other site but half of the fun of the FE is the countdown on Disboards with the people you'll be cruising with, discussing the list, ideas etc and if the lists are merging and the bulk of discussion will be on the other site then essentially you are just a name and cabin number on a list you know nothing about if you aren't part of the other site.

My suggestion, and it's just my view, is that those who want to be part of the other sites list and who are members there can participate in that list. Those that are not part of that site or who prefer to keep the FE list here on Disboards where it originated, can stay on a FE list here (either the original or a new one - which I would be happy to create) and anyone who has access to both sites and who wants to be on both sites, can be on both lists.

Win win for everyone maybe? Thoughts? I am definitely not looking to highjack and take over the original FE list on here, I just know that I would like to start planning and getting excited and it's hard to do that if the list is in limbo.

I am all for staying on the DIS FE listing! Please Keep me on it. I am Not a member of the other site and don't ever plan on becoming one. I have already started my FE - Just need to know if we are staying with the original plan of 10 rooms and closing the FE around April (?). Please let me know who will be handling in case I have a question - so I know who to ask it to. Can we post our listing on the First page of this thread? We could post the sign-up sheet and maybe list who is in the FE. Just a suggestion. Would cut down on the confusion.. Just my thoughts.

Hi everyone
Myself, DH and DD will be on this cruise. We live in the UK and live about 2 hours from Dover. Normally we cruise out of Port Canaveral so will make a change not to fly.
I am looking for information on joining the FE, how many cabins have registered and is there a cut off?
Looking forward to making new friends.

Just as a comment, there's no need to post the list in the first post, especially if not everyone wants names and ages out here for everyone to see. You can start a conversation with up to 20 participants and keep that info just for those people involved in the FE. One note, to participate in a conversation you must have at least 10 posts here on DISboards.

I think most, if not all of us, have been saying the same thing about not wanting anything to do with anything outside of here. I just wish the FE list could continue as it was. I'm not sure why this particular FE list isn't as straight forward as all the others I have participated in. It's easy: log your details, wait it out and a month before you get your cabin numbers. People are free to do as they wish but can we please just leave well alone and be allowed to countdown here. If the original FE list admin/coordinator no longer wishes to participate in this FE list, perhaps they can post as such and someone else can take over?

I have also messaged the lady who started the original FE to ask for an update so that we all know what's happening. I'm sure she is so busy with life at this time of year but I would really like to know whether our original list is going ahead.

In other news, my parents booked this cruise at the weekend also. It'll be our second Magical cruise with them. I can't wait to build more memories onboard

Thought I would give you an update - I purchased a camera - I got a Black Friday deal on a Nikon. Should arrive next week - it was an online order - but I did check it out in the store. Next challenge will be learning how to use it!! Slowly checking off my list of things to get for the cruise. How are your plans coming along? I have not done much planning lately - busy with the Holidays -hope to get back to the planning next week.

Hi all,

Myself and my husband will be joining you on the Norway cruise - so excited! We will be cruising with 2 of our friends. It is my third Disney cruise, the hubbys fourth and our friends are first time Disney cruisers! Really looking forward to seeing the reimagined Magic, and hoping to see the new shows too!

We have only just discovered the FE - after being perplexed by the hangers in all previous cruises. We would love to get involved in the FE, happy to do mixed or adults only. Do we need to email anyone directly?
