I was going to do a Private Message - but several people do not have 10 post so they can't receive Private Messages. I am trying to confirm all who want to do the DIS Fish Extender. Please respond in the thread or Private Message to WDWEPCOT or LELALITTLELEGS. We are confirming all and will post an update once we are done. We are on the DIS constantly so you can contact us anytime - We cover the US and London. We hope to have this done asap and have the form ready to go and info out to you all. I have the following DIS people as signed up for the DIS Fish Extender - Please respond and let Team Norway FE know if Yes / No are you still doing the DIS Fish Extender? We are trying to make sure we have a clear cut listing - there has been some confusion. We are here to clear this up and move this forward. Hi,

we don't have our cabin number yet as we're in a GTY room. I believe we will find out our room approx 14 days before sail date - hope this isn't a problem!? Xx

BeckyD85 - It's no problem at all that you're GTY. Just head back here and let myself or EDWEPCOT know your cabin number once it's been assigned to you. We'll make sure you're added to the new FE list and will be posting an up-to-date version for you all to see shortly.

It's also helpful if there is embarkation day meet up - some people may not actually get room assignments until then, as well as those who try for upgrades in the terminal may wind up with a different room.

Generally, many FE groups/cruise meet groups plan for an embarkation day meet up around 3:00 (Promenade Lounge is good for this) before the muster drill. You can sort out any room changes there, if necessary.

We also will have dry erase boards on the cabin doors for Team Norway FE Leaders so we can put Room # updates on the dry erase boards for all FE members as we receive them once the cruise starts. We used this method on a previous FE and it worked really well. People do change rooms and upgrades happen.
Are you joining us on this cruise? You know you want to go to Norway!! Say you are coming along!

Is anyone making any headway with excursions/ private tours. I would rather not book direct with DCL (during our Baltic cruise last year our least favorite excursions were with DCL), but I'm not really coming up with much by doing Google searches or TripAdvisor. Is anyone having any luck?

I have not booked anything on Excursions - I have looked into all the ports as I am also on the TA before the Norway cruise. There are links on the first page of this thread. I would suggest reading the trip reports from the Norway cruises from this year - It will give you a great start from what others did on excursions this year. Have you checked them out? They are so interesting to read - I just can't wait for this cruise!
What kind of things do you have in mind? I just can't seem to decide - I know I need to make up my mind and get working on this. It is one of my goals for right after the Holidays. So sorry you did not enjoy your Disney Excursions - I do hope things go better in Norway. I used Disney for our Alaska and enjoyed our time there - having done that - when I go again - I would do a few things on my own the next time.

Whilst I am not with you on this cruise, - albeit wish to be on it as it is local to me, I have cruised in and out of Dover a number of times, the last one was just recently this summer. It is slightly different as the cruise terminal is small.
