Magic Kingdom to HS in shortest possible time..

Hi All
My next Disney vacation is in 59 short days.

My Family has been to Disney 8 times in the last 9 years so we are not newbies. I don't normally use Disney transport. We bring our own car and only use Disneys transportation on the rare occasion we split. In the past, that has been from a hotel to a Theme Park. I need you experts out there to help me get to HS from MK in the shortest amount of time possible. Which transport should I choose and how much time should I allow to arrive at HS at 11:30am.

There is a bus that goes to HS from MK. I would guess that this is the quickest way to do this via Disney transport. I would give yourself 45 minutes, even though it could take half that time. It all depends on how long you have to wait for the bus to arrive.

You can take a bus from HS to MK. That would probably be the quickest option.

I was not sure there was a direct bus from MK to HS. So direct route sound good to me

I was going to say taxi or Uber too, but the taxi stand for MK is at TTC, not right at the MK gate. So since you'd have to take monorail or boat to TTC, the Disney bus to DHS would probably actually be faster than Uber/taxi.

That will take at least as much time (and maybe a bit more) than taking the direct bus.

I find the buses park to park to be frequent and fast.. they like shuttling you to spend more money. there's no reason to walk right past the direct bus to hollywood which is the first or second bus stop..

We took a bus HS to MK earlier this month. Although we didn't time it it seemed very quick. We did have to wait a few minutes at the HS stop before the bus came. It did not seem like a very long bus ride. I'd assume you need at least an hour between waiting for the bus, the bus ride and then security and scanning in.

Do you mean the bus from MK to DHS via the TTC or is there literally a bus right outside the MK (like with the resort buses?) that goes to DHS?

There hasn't been a DHS bus from the TTC in years. The bus is at MK.

Lol, I guess I'm showing my age! We haven't park hopped *TO* DHS in ages, we usually start there and then head elsewhere. Thanks for the info!

Hi OP! Just as the other lovely posters have said the best way for a direct transport is a bus from MK to DHS. Make sure you get everything you need before entering the park ready so that the process will be quick and easy. Have a magical time!

We experienced GREAT park to park bus service during our 4 Parks/1 Day adventure on June 18. Highly recommend the bus.

That would be a bad decision if a shorter time between parks was the issue.
