Gift cards are the same as cash. They can very easily be spent on something instead of food.
Many parents want their children to actually eat while at the park.
You've pretty much summed up my thoughts on all dining plans.Cuts pretty even and severely limits your dining options. Why would anyone want this?
Much like the Dining plans overallIf you order the most expensive things on the menu, you can save a dollar or two. I don't know that it would be worth the hassle to me.
Me too! While I didn't ever get those at AK I did enjoy grab and go meals out in DL. The food was quite fresh and healthy too, grilled chicken, veggies, etc.Darn it, when I read the title, I was hoping this was like the old AK picnic lunches--a real grab and go. Walk up to a kiosk, scan MB, get food, and go. Food and snack lines were the worst part of our Thanksgiving week trip.
Can you get water for free? I have always used snack credits or paid.

I believe it no longer does (but not 100% as we don't use it)I wonder why this version doesn't include a dessert where the Dining Plan version does.
Filtered, from the soda machines at QS locations is NOT tap water. In FL there is a significant differenceA cup of water (tap/filtered whatever it is in Florida) is free. Bottled you have to pay for.

Looking at the 2017 plan details the quick service meals do not include dessert - just the same as this: Entree and non-alcoholic drink

Well, well, well... Isn't that interesting.
BUT... did anyone see you can sub your drink for a snack eligible item?
So, if you ask for tap water and just add in your own flavoring you COULD have a main, a side/dessert, and a drink
They are not. Only to Disney. They are awful.nor do I think any dining plan is a good value),
