Looks like you would have to weigh out each persons meals to determine if its really worth the price. I think on the service it goes back TwoMisfits thoughts about them losing money on the water drinkers.
quick math tells me it cuts it pretty even, no discount at all, we don't order drinks just water so we will not use this
the only way I feel this would be good is if you have teenagers that will be walking around independently and you want them to have food but not cash on them.Cuts pretty even and severely limits your dining options. Why would anyone want this?
I don't think this is for most people on this board who plan ahead. However, to the casual 1-day guest who hasn't planned their day as carefully, it's a suggestive sell that tries to get them to do some planning when they buy their ticket.

yeah I know gift cards would work too.Disney gift cards. $143 for a pack of three $50 cards at Sam's Club.
I still have and use my reusable green picnic in the park bagDarn it, when I read the title, I was hoping this was like the old AK picnic lunches--a real grab and go. Walk up to a kiosk, scan MB, get food, and go. Food and snack lines were the worst part of our Thanksgiving week trip.

The history of all the dining plans/"free dining" vs. OOP dining. Overall, HUGE price increases and severe dumbing down of the overall dining experience over past years.watch for all these locations to increase their entree costs $2-3 in the next few weeks to make this plan have more "value" - you know it's coming,
I hope that they don't dumb down CHH in some way. It wouldn't surprise me though.
This looks worthless.
Gift cards are the same as cash. They can very easily be spent on something instead of food.Disney gift cards. $143 for a pack of three $50 cards at Sam's Club.
I had no idea the QS DDP was that much, but then this might make sense if someone likes the idea of prepaying meals. The $14 you are saving are 2 ice creams and a soda in the park. Or 4 sodas, or almost three ice creams. So, if someone is willing to allocate $44/day to QS, this plan might be a better fit. I know that, for us, a mug that is only valid at a resort is practically worthless.Would have more value if they at least included an all day soft drink kind of program.....
The regular price of the QS DDP for a day is $44. But for that you also get a snack and the resort mug.
So they take away the last two items and drop the price $14.
I don't get why anyone would bother.
