Which is correct:"I am going to Magic Kingdom." or "I am going to the Magic Kingdom."Thanks. :)

To Magic Kingdom. I don't say I am going to the Epcot or to the MGM. I guess they are both right. Depends on how you like to say it.

Good question....I only say I am going to "The" World! :cool1: Everyone that I know, knows what I mean!

Depends who and where you are talking. At the office talking about going to WDW? Then it would be something like "I am going to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World"
At your room and telling your family where you are headed. You could say "I am headed over to Magic Kingdom"

I don't believe "the" has to follow a noun.

You wouldn't have to say "I am going over to The MGM Studios"

You could just say "I am going over to MGM"

Ahhh...I love grammar!

You're going to have magical fun filled time. :goodvibes :sunny: :wizard:

This is a good question! Some places really are adament about using "The." For example, you can't say you go to Ohio State University. You must say you go to THE Ohio State University. Don't ask me why, though.

The man's voice on the monorail says "welcome to the Magic Kingdom", so that's official enough for me. princess:

The or without The ... I just want to go! The easiest way to put is.. "I am going!" It doesn't matter where...just go. :Pinkbounc :earboy2:
