That's a big nope here. I can't stand Halloween, and I think the ticket price is way to much for a 5 hour party.

Hope everybody had a great weekend. I had a long 1 visiting my parents in DE. Was colder than we would have liked, but still a very nice break and we got a bit of shopping done for some much needed stuff. Back to work in the morning. Then after i have an eye Dr. appt. and a meeting at church tomorrow night.

Oh yeah, break's over:lmao:

When's that cruise again:laughing:

So Jealous that you were just there, we love Kidani! Actually, that's where we will be staying post-cruise. This is something else that I am so excited to get to share with my parents and sister, we will have two studios there. :cool1:

And thanks to everyone for the wonderful or should I say "Magic"al welcome!!

We ate at Sanaa Restaurant at Kidani. It was one of the best meals we had. We were seated at a window table so we could watch the animals just before sunset. We liked that area but, the Beach Club Villas are still our favorites.

I have noticed that the rooms for the October 8th cruise keep changing, in price and availability. Sometimes inside staterooms are there and sometimes they are not. When we made our reservation I just waited until the cheapest (11C) room appeared and grabbed it. It was only there for a few moments. Plan #1: Free upgrade before arriving at port :) (we have done this on each of our previous cruises)
Plan #2: Free upgrade after arriving at port
Plan #3: Pay for upgrade at port
Plan #4: Stay in room category that we booked :scared1:

Actually it does not matter which room we get, since we are not in there very much, however if I could get a cheap balcony room I would take it.

<

Yeah, I was wondering about the upgrade. We are hoping for a free one but I guess I better look at prices before we leave to see what a good price would be if we had to pay for one? We really don't care if we stay in the room we are in since we don't plan on being there that much. Just like at WDW, we stay in value resorts because we are in the parks all day and most of the night so really don't care. We make the most of our time.:thumbsup2

What about sea sickness? Is it better for you being able to look at the sea to not get sick? I know I can go on deck too.:confused3 I don't get car sick and I have never gotten sick on a boat so I am thinking the ship probably won't be a big deal. My DH has to wear the patch though because some rides at WDW make him woozy. I am hoping neither one of us has an issue.:worship:

We really enjoyed Sanaa as well, great atmosphere and great food. Love BCV as well, it is our first home resort, and actually staying there after our July Dream cruise where we will be celebraing my DD's 21st birthday!! I think my favorite resort is the last one I stayed at :rotfl: You really can't go wrong with the DVC resorts!

Since we are talking about resorts, today was my 11 month window to book so I can check in on 2/29/12. I got what I wanted. One of the last 2 concierge level studios for a week. Love it.

 Happy for you. Yesterday we used the 7-month window for Boardwalk (OKW is home resort) for Food & Wine for after the cruise. Reservationist said they'd pretty much been sold out, but she'd be happy to check, she was shocked when we not only got our room, but exactly what type for the dates we wanted!

I had kinda the same experience. I did not call till 10:30 local time here in L.A. When I said I would like a club level studio for the week she kinda did the ohhh not promising thing, then she said that she was shocked that two were available. So I took one.

Hello everyone - thought it was about time to look you all up. This will be our 6th Disney Cruise - it will be me, Debbie, my daughter Chelsea age 14, my sister, Tamara and her son Andy age 13! (This will be a first for Tam and Andy but we have been begging them to come for years!) My husband has went on 2 of the cruises with us - the others it was just Chels and me. We have had a wonderful time everytime - last year I kept telling Chelsea that this wold probably be the last one (last year) for a while so we could do something different - I think I made it to the second night of the cruise until I booked another for this year! You just cant beat DCL! We would love to participate in all activities, fish extenders, meets, etc. I have not read the whole thread so hoping someone will fill me in on who to contact for all! have a wonderful day and am now counting days until we meet!!

Debbie

My daughter is 21 now and will be 22 in October (birthday in May). She will be graduating from college in May. I have her registered for the cruise right now but not sure if she will get to go. She will be working or in graduate school or who knows what at this point.

:welcome: aboard the Magic in Paradise cruise to the eastern caribbean.:banana:

:welcome: debbiechels :welcome:

We're so glad to have you:cool1: We may not be the fastest moving group on the boards but we are definitely a fun 1 and please just jump in wherever:thumbsup2

Laura is correct in that I am the list keeper for the cruise as well the FE organizer. I'm not sure if i signed on to do these because i was board, down in the dumps, or just plain crazy:lmao:

Either way, the link to the google spreadsheet for the entire sailing lot of us is at the bottom of post 1. I posted a link to the FE spreadsheet a few pages ago. I should probably go add that into the first post too:rolleyes1 Anyhow, take a look see and send whatever you wish to share with us.

Seeing as how it is pouring rain here today:sad2: and I've gotten a smidgen of my brain to return to me I kinda caught up on the new cruisers and the ES/Pirate game standings.

All updates are in post number 1:thumbsup2

Any bets as to how long it'll become until it take up the entire first page? :rotfl2:

ETA: added the FE spreadsheet link to the first post. If you want to play just email or PM me

SLOW MOVING!?! :lmao::rotfl2:

Good God woman have you seen the thread for this year's Easter Magic? That thing wasn't even 10 pages long last time i looked and it is 3 weeks to Easter:lmao:

I like our speed, not too fast not too slow. Not at all like our last cruise which TIGGER/POOH4 was also on. If you missed 1 day you missed at least 3 pages worth of posts:rotfl:
