uh oh...what's that?:confused3

That's what I'm asking Judith:lmao: I don't know if she's asking that question of me or Tinkerbell2212:rotfl2: i meant to ask last night when I first saw it, but was all fuzzy in the brain:rolleyes1

I also think ages and sex of children is important to know so we know what to buy. As an example, On my last cruise I bought jewelry for the girls, different type by different age groups, and 'toys' for the boys but again different types by different age groups. I also bagged and marked each gift for who it was intended for, so having the name next to the age & sex worked great. Just in case I give out anything FUN :drinking1: If 'adult' is 18, 19 or 20, it's best if we know that too. I hope this doesn't create too much work for you!!! We do all appreciate you doing this! I'm sharing the responsibility for another FE and know that it can be more work than others might realize.

For some reason I'm not listed for the exchange....

I knew I forgot something. Colours and style:confused3

Lol kaye and family are friends of ours and when I last seen her she was trying to decide on colours and the style of Mickey heads to make a FE. It's a hard choice princess: or pirate:
We are hoping for better weather on this cruise in oct 09 we had to wear our fleeces to the sail away party and on our last night we had a choppy sailing back to port. I think most of the people onboard retired to their cabins early:sick:. But thankfully we were all good:thumbsup2

For all of us who are participating in the FE Exchange, here is the link to the spreadsheet. For changes just email or PM me with anything you want to add.

I also have questions for everybody in the exchange:

* Do we need a column for allergies?

I already have 1 for preferences. We can use it for allergies too if you like.

* How do we feel about a final deadline for signups?

We want to give everybody enough time if they are crafting something as well as for those who have items ordered. I'll take suggestions for dates.

Remember there are NO Maximumsand only 1 Minimum of 1 gift per stateroom. You are only limited by your budget and imagination:thumbsup2

Thanks Maureen for taking the time to do FE list:yay:
I think a final deadline would be good. I would suggest June to give us plenty of time to get organized but I'm good with anything.
We will have our fe on only 1 of the 2 rooms that we have probably the outside cabin.

Good morning fellow cruisers. It is that time of the week again. Another week has gone by.
We now have only

arg-9-50-trans.gif

weeks to go to the Magic. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Doesn't it make it seem a lot less? 29 Weeks!!!! Hoping it really flies by now!!! My family was talking how that Jan-March has really flown by, so now maybe 29 weeks will do the same! Thanks Dan for the great countdowns!

Thanks for explaining Judith! I had no idea what "colours and style' were referring too...in gifts? in making a FE? in recommendations of what colours or a theme?...so, think I understand now. Thanks:goodvibes

And as far as the weather...geesh, hope it's not cold in October!! I know we wouldn't be prepared for a cold cruise. One more thing to put on my list now, to watch the weather temps out in the caribbean before packing, knew to listen for 'hurricane' statuses, but ugh! I'd hate it if it was cold and 'choppy' seas. Someone in my crew would be sick for sure. Lovely...

So what in the world did y'all find to do docking at Nassau so late? I don't imagine you had much time to tour? I'm just curious as I know October is hurricane season. I've been in one hurricane on the Destin beaches when it hit years ago, but think I've heard if you're on a cruise ship, you really fare better. I would PREFER not to give it another go while on the cruise, so I think I'll be praying towards that end!:goodvibes

Did many of the passengers get seasick due to worse waves? Were y'all at all concerned? Or did it come across that y'all just had to make a change of plans and no biggie....:confused3 Just curious....

We walked around town for a while and did a little shopping. We left around 10pm so there was time for excusions if that is what you wanted to do. As the Eastern Caribbean was pretty much shut down, Nassua had several ships already there.
As for hurricanes, I would not worry about them. That is the great thing about being on a cruise. If the weather gets bad you leave and go elsewhere. Just be flexible and have a great time. If bad weather hits WDW where are going to go. The weather is Nassau was very nice with sunny blue skies. We did not have any big waves on our trip and no one that I know of was sick. We left St Maarten before the weather turn bad.

Your 'shopping' brochures reminded me of the only cruise my dd and I have ever gone on. RCCL., the Navigators of the Sea. We went to St Martin, St Thomas , Nassau, and San Juan. Got lost in San Juan:lmao: Got haggled to death about getting our hair braided (we both had long hair) in St Martin, and went to the shops in St Thomas (and quickly walked out). What was so amazing was that I bet 2/3 of the people we met were going to buy diamonds at Diamonds International. We met a sweet couple from California who only came on the week long cruise to buy diamonds! I was amazed! We learned alot on that cruise about diamonds...but lol, ask me how many we bought!:rotfl: And loved Atlantis, though we only toured it!

Lessons learned? Don't venture off by yourselves:lmao:, kind of have a plan for your excursion, and know that some of the jewelry are great deals, some are NOT!:goodvibes Don't know WHAT we'll do this go round! But good to see those brochures anyway!

We got our stateroom numbers so I sent you a pm with all the info and Lila's age at sailing - and my DH is Darrell not David :)

I like using the preference column for anything like no alcohol or allergies.

And I would suggest 75 days before sailing (July 25th) for the cutoff since that is final payment and there won't be too many newcomers after that date (or cancellations either).

Thanks for keeping track of everything :thumbsup2

Alrighty cruisers:thumbsup2

The FE info is complete as far as I know it. Anything else to add please just let me know. :wizard:

For deadlines I've seen 1 vote for 90 days and 1 vote for 75. Any other suggestions?

Also I've gotten a question of just how big a group do we want to have before splitting up. Right now it is a Small group spread out over 2 decks. Easy peasy. No idea how much bigger we'll get.

And last but not least I know someone mentioned wanting to know if there are any young adults/teens on the verge of 20s area. Right now there are none of those. Everybody playing as an adult is over the drinking age which is my personal definition:lmao: But if you want to me post all of the ages it is not a problem for me. As far as my gift goes it won't matter if you're 20 or 90. You're stuck with it:lmao:
