Magic in Northern Europe May 30 2015

Hi :)

This is our middle leg of our B2B2B, and my mother's final leg of her B2B. So there'll be me, DH, DD (who will be 6), DS (who will be 2), my mother, and my sister is also joining us I think.

A recipe exchange would be fun!! My first thought with this cruise was "I am NOT doing the FE!" because it is such a long distance to travel and that would be too many things to take and too many to bring back home.
Maybe a "postcard" exchange as well. I know my kids would enjoy seeing postcards from the different cities, states, countries represented by the DCL guests.
I would love both of these! I never participate in FEs because of the luggage / travel issue from Australia. These are totally do-able for me :)

Maybe we could split the FE into groups, last time we split it every twenty cabins which was perfect for us (we travelled from the UK to Florida) then those wanted to participate in more could just join two groups. Just another option! :)

The Postcard Recipe Exchange is all one thing. Anyone who wants to participate picks up postcards local to them and writes or prints a recipe on the back, again ideally local to them or a family recipe but not nessecarily. :) I think we had a group of about 12 last time which was nice and easy and we have recipes from all over the world now! :)

So thrilled to be on this cruise! Hello everyone! Seems there will several holding the same stateroom on B2B's!

Hello, Everyone! I am so excited for this trip already and it is still over a year away!

We were able to snag an 11B, stateroom 6647. It will be myself, DH (David) and DMiL (Violet). We will all be in the same room from the EBTA before this one. This B2B won't break our 2010 record of 25-nights on board, but I won't cough at 22!

The recipe exchange sounds perfect - I have never done that one before and I am always looking for new ones!

I look forward to getting to know everyone over the next year!

Welcome! I'm glad to see another family with younger kids checking in. My DD will be 7 when we sail and DS will be 2y 8mo.

This will be the first part of a b2b for us as well. I've always wanted to experience a b2b and this seems the perfect time.

We are down on deck 2 as a window is a requirement with that many days.

We booked this on Wednesday and I have been so excited about it. This will be the second half of our B2B. We currently have two rooms booked, DH and I and one for my older sister and her two kids. Seems like there are a lot of B2Bers! So excited!

count us in for the recipe exchange.

We are booked for this cruise! First time as a gold member so had to take advantage of the advance booking benefit...

Very cool!!

So nice that so many of us are doing a B2B of one kind or another! Those of us spending 30 nights together are going to know each other better than most of our extended family members. :lmao:

DH and I will be on this cruise as well. We are visiting Europe for the first time this June on the 7 night Med along with DD 24 and DS 22 but for the Baltic it will just be the two of us. I am so excited to see the excursions but I already think that we will do a culinary walking tour in Stockholm. Love the recipe exchange idea!

Just booked yesterday -- busy day for me. Booked Dream for 5/30/14, Wonder for 3/15/15 (with mother in law & sister in law's family, a first for them) and finally the Magical Baltic with you guys. Whew! On this cruise their will be hubby, myself & 2 daughters ages 15 & 16. Can't wait!

YAY!! Welcome to the group :goodvibes

I cannot believe we are going to Russia (among other great ports). I never thought I'd ever go there, unless I had limitless travel funds. This is absurdly fantastic!
