Magic Goes Texan! Eight Crazy Nights (3/1/2013 Bahamas)

I wonder if anyone knows about the dining rotation for this cruise? I mean, does it go restaurant 1, restaurant 2, restaurant 3 and then cycle back through them in that same order again? Or does it go more like 1, 2, 3, 2, 1, 3, and so on? Does that make sense?

Yes, I'm in extreme planning mode now that it's getting so close!

Getting closer to sail date! Is anyone aware of a TR from the same itinerary or any navigators posted?

I have been looking too but not found anything. Since this itinerary is happening right now I hope that someone will post upon their return.

Its the first one they cycle back. We asked for ALP but it is not one of the three rotations so we got PLA, we wanted Lumieres for the formal night. This is an eight night cruise so you will be each twice, but don't miss the first Animators Palate because it transitions only on the first night. Call DCL and ask for a restaurant rotation. See Dining on the tool bar above. Good luck!

I didn't know you could request a dining rotation. That's a great tip, thank you!

I saw this below on another post about the 8 day cruise including WDW, but I haven't called to confirm it. It seems to make sense since it skips the 5th night when we're at Port Canaveral and I expect there will be few people on board for dinner. Looks like it's not a standard rotation of 1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2.

Dining rotations:
1) LAAPOAPL
2) APPLOPLA
3) PLLAOLAP
*The O is WDW day and they will not have rotational dining that night.

Called DCL and the rotation stops on day 5 WDW then continues were it left off. So what ever your day 5 was is now your day 6. Hope this makes sense.

I have no idea about the rotation, or how it works. Its our 1st cruise, think I might just go with the flow. I'm so ready for a vacation. Fish extender almost done!!!! Yeee

Was this for the Western Caribbean itinerary? Our original dining rotation was
LAPLAPLA, and DCL just told me that our last Animator's Palate will just fall off. So our new rotation should be LAPLAOPL.

Do all the restaurants have the same menu on formal night? Is there a reason to request one over the other on formal night other than the atmosphere?

I saw it on another thread where someone was told that was the rotation for their Feb. 15 cruise that's the same itinerary as ours, so I assumed it would be the same. Who knows?! :confused3

I'm curious, but won't be requesting any specific rotation so it doesn't really matter. The common thing appears to be that there's no dining rotation assigned for the WDW day which I wondered about.

It will be interesting to see if/when someone posts the navigators from the first sailing of our itinerary when they return this Saturday. If anyone sees them, please be sure to post the link here. :goodvibes

Good too see you back, Three. You are right the last rotations will not happen because the rotation stops on the WDW night five. so your rotation should be LAPLOAPL. Good rotation if you like Lumiere's.

Im assuming there is still a Prince/Princess night. I sooo hope someone posts the Navigators from the cruise before us!!

Who is doing the second FE again?

If it remains a small group (I think it was just a few families last time I saw someone post about it?), I'd be happy to join both FE's so that it is more fun for y'all! :hyper:

If it grows to be a big group in the next few weeks, then I'll drop out and only do the 1st one. :)

Let me know how it's going!

That's a great idea! I bought some extra gifts so I can do this too. :goodvibes

Yes it sounds like it is going to happen! I am going to organize I just need someone who has done this before to tell me what I need to do. Let's put a closing date of February 1st so that gives us time to get the gifts together. I will start compiling a list if anyone wants to join please message me your stateroom number, parties names and ages... any other info I need?? I am excited!

Lisa

We would definitely like to do this group two. We love giving gifts it's fun.
