magic express and other transport ???

Have some ME and transportation questions:

The pkg we booked included magic express tkts but our flt arrives at 11:20 pm. I only decided on Friday to go the week of June 2-8 so had to take the cheapest flts I could find.

Can we still use the magic express by calling ahead to advise arrival time? We are on AA so I assume there will be alot of Disney folks on the flight.

If we can still use ME, would it be best to claim our bags ourselves so that we can have them in our room when we ck in. We will most likely want to get right to bed in order to get going early the next day.

We are going with another family but only decided we could afford it at the last minute so we aren't staying at the same resorte. They are at Coronado and we will be at POP. What is best way to get between the 2 resorts? Most days we will just meet them in the park but we might want to go to CS to swim or they might come to POP. Trying to decide if buses to EP or MGM then to resort would be a pain or not? Or would a taxi be reasonable? Or maybe just rent a car for the week?

Give DME a call and let them know of your new flight times...this way there will be no surprises when you arrive at the DME counter. Since you seem to want to have your bags with you, I would not put the yellow luggage tags on them, and then head right to baggage carousel to grab your bags. This will add about 20 mins to your time but you will have the bags with you upon checkin. Then, head downstairs to the DME area.

Only you can decide what the best way to get around, from resort to resort is. It's really not all that bad, but it can be time consuming. If it's a day you are all going to a park, then meet up at the park, as you suggested. If it's a day you all just want to hang out at a resort, then one group is going to have to either take a bus to the park nearest the resort and then switch over to the next resorts bus....for example ....you are at POP, you want to go to CSR...take the bus to MGM, then transfer to CSR there.
A cab is not a bad way to go...much more direct and you won't waste a lot of time.
