Magic Christmas Cruise 2010 (Dec 18th - 29th) - PART II

That does sound yummy.

I have to say I didn't really enjoy our DCL Christmas meal in 2007. Luckily we did have some great other meals!

But I'm pretty traditional (in a very British way) so I can't really expect my beloved roast potatoes to turn up on an American table! Mash and turkey always makes me think I've stumbled into a retirement home for people with no teeth!!!

Lol we were talking about this just today. No yorkshire puddings either.I dont remember mince pies either especially with clotted cream!

Thank you so much for the Christmas link! Under a month and we will all be on our way to paradise. I can't wait to spend my holidays with all of you!!

Thanks for the link! Great to see the Christmas menu - yay:yay: for yule log dessert . Thinking the special cocktails look mighty good too:cool1:

Hey everyone!

As of 8:20 pacific time Palo Brunch for 1-2 people is open! I was able to get a table for myself and my mom.

:santa:One month to go!
I am not looking at the menu for Christmas because I will make me hungry.:goodvibes
This morning I have:
~called newspapers & put them on vacation hold
~called Happy Limo for transportation & grocery store stop
~called Perfect Gift to arrange for sand toys
And now I am going to put together my FE gifts.

Have a request: I waited to contact Jordak about door magnets, and now he is on a vacation from all of the requests. :rolleyes1If anyone has already received a design from him that has our cruise date on it would you mind printing a magnet for our door? Obviously it won't be personalized with our names, but I think there may be a couple of designs with Christmas cruise on it.
I would REALLY appreciate it. Please PM me.
Beth Anne
Thanks fellow dis-cruisers!

I went to London for the first time in February. We took a "Girls" trip (there were 8 of us) and it was one of the funnest times I've ever had. We had all been reading the book Wicked and decided to go see the play. Anyway, we went to Harrods for High Tea where I had my first taste of clotted cream, and I couldn't get enough. Everyone kept telling me to quit eating eating all of it! I was putting it on everything. And while we were there, Simon Cowell was sitting just a few tables away!!

I loved London and can't wait to go back. I'm also a little addicted to the Tutor family History, so next visit I hope to see some of the castles.

Ahhh, they've gone already :sad1:

Keep checking back. The first thing I do every morning is check the Palo openings. I've been able to get dinner, high tea, and brunch times that I didn't think I would get. There are High Tea times right now for our 2nd day at sea. That is when we are going. I love tea!

 We would also truly love to have one if someone would not mind printing one for us. We can't get any of those kind of supplies here. I would be happy to cover the expense.

Thank you very much!

It isn't showing any High Tea, there is only Dinner available. :sad1:

I do check several times a day, but I've got the point where's it's just mind numbingly soul destroying! :faint:

Though I did get a Le Cellier booking, but only because it's at an inconvenient time

How many people are you traveling with? We have 3 adults so that may be why I can see the tea ressises. Those are for 3-4 people.

It is really frustrating isn't it? I totally understand the whole first come, first served, concierge stuff but it doesn't make any less stressful on first time cruisers.

Just 2 so I can only see reservations for 1-2 people.

I'll try and get a reservation when we board, and if not, I'm sure we'll be able to go another time...like when we're Platinum members and get first choice! :rotfl:

What excursions are you doing? Have you planned yours all out?

That all sounds awesome, Sarah :thumbsup2 See you in Barbados!

Called Expedia to ask about documents and they are on a UPS truck in my town out for delivery!!! YEAH!

I think I've planned too many excursions but I know I would kick myself if I didn't do them because I probably won't get the chance to visit these places again.
I'd rather wear myself out doing too much than come home thinking "I wish I had done _____ at ______ when I had the chance". :goodvibes

I have planned too many as well. I think the worst thing is that they are all early morning get up and go's. My family are going to hate me!! Have to decide if to drop anything or not.
