Magic Christmas Cruise 2010 (Dec 18th - 29th) - PART II

I actually formatted the document so that everyone can put it their cabin numbers or other missing info themselves (just thought it would be quicker for everyone but I don't mind doing it for you if that's preferrable.) Sorry that I didn't make that more clear. I have several in my PM box already so I will get to those when I can.

Also, I apparently have given a cabin a couple kids that aren't theirs :lmao: I am gonna go back and see where the kidnapping occured, but if you are missing children please come to the customer service desk. No stopping to go catch a movie first either!:rotfl:

All y'all are so cute and clever and I feel like all I do is ask questions about liquor, hair dryers and FEs. That being said....

so, I should just wait to print in a few days when changes have occured, such as missing children reunited with their staterooms? If I just refresh that google page, will that do it or do I need a new link?
And, do I need to ask via PM for all the stateroom #s I need or will people just volunteer up that information here?

I think all traces of my humanity should be corrected in the next day or so :rotfl2: The google doc is actually real time so any updates input by me or others are already there. Don't know if you need to refresh but it can't hurt. No need to ask for stateroom #'s once we get closer to the sail date if we are still missing some I will do the nagging for you ;)

Sorry...there will probably be 3 more that got a strange PM from me with no link...my mouse must be quicker than my brain

Joann, sorry about the flight change, but the girls will be so excited they can't sleep anyway - maybe? And maybe they'll sleep better on the plane? At least you will have a nice long time to decompress after.

We are Episcopalian, but thought we might celebrate mass. It's not terribly different...just can't remember if the Romans sing Silent Night, which is my favorite part of our Christmas services -- and the heavy incense! Which I love. Then again, might be pooped from the big formal night and too tired to stay up until midnight.

I can't believe how quickly this cruise is coming. Yay!
I'm Catholic...we sing Silent Night and the priest uses incense...

That's crazy! They are perfect. I was fixin to order some new ugg clogs, but...might have to have these instead.

I know! Right?! I've got them sitting in a shopping cart.

Ugh. Costa Rica would have been alot cheaper vacation by the time I quit buying Disney themed stuff to wear on the boat. Not to mention pirate costumes, FE gifts, magnets, excursions, trees from Shirley, the just perfect Christmas outfits for pictures, the Zazzle designed embarkation tees and on and on and on. And I SAID I wasn't going to do ANY of that!!

Wow, I finally caught up on reading! You just can be away from our group for a few days...:rotfl: We took a road trip to the new Disney Store in Dallas - they had the grand opening this weekend. It was a nice fix before the cruise. The kids got to see Mickey and Minnie and play in the store. It is great! I wish we lived closer! They have activities all week long my kids would LOVE! They did get to wave the wand and see the princess, play in the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and check out the big movie watching area. Radio Disney was there as well. I am always SO impressed at how Disney can organize and manage crowds. Many people were there, but the lines really moved quickly and there were PLENTY of cast members there for the event.

Great work on the F/E list Tink! You are such a trooper to do this! I like the idea of a big group - sure it is even more stuff to pack, but we will have so many days together it would not be overwhelming.

LeiLani, thanks for setting up the wine tasting! Alan and I have a Palo Brunch at 11:30 that day so I think we should be done right about the time the tasting starts - and we will not be tasting on an empty stomach! No wafer thin mints and a nap may be needed, but we will be there!

Brenda - glad you all are going to join the late dinner group!

I know several people did not make the last group - I don't mind trying to put another one together to see if there is additional group space available - this has to be done 30 days prior to sailing. If you want to be included PM me asap. Thank you.

I feel the same!:goodvibesWhen we booked it was with the express consent from my DH that I not spend on Christmas & hold down the cost. Ooops. Good thing he doesn't look at my ebay/etsy e-mails. Since we booked in Sept., we have already taken a big hit having to pay in full. Must restrain myself from spending more! (but I might NEED those battery operated mickey lights from Lowe's)

It's hard not to go crazy. I know I don't need that sequin t shirt dress...but...:rotfl: And I booked too late to get in on the late summer sales. But there seems to be an over-abundance of sparkly holiday STUFF.

And glad you reminded me about the Mickey lights at Lowe's. Can we string them on our verandas??

:surfweb: Think I got everyone! If you are a fish:rotfl: and did not get a PM from me with the list link please let me know.

Totals on the complete list are:
63 cabins
117 adults
0-2 yrs old - 1 boy 1girl
3-7 yrs old - 11 boys, 18 girls
8-12 yrs old - 19 boys, 23 girls
13-17 yrs old - 11 boys, 14 girls

Melissa,

Thanks so much for all the hard work on the FE list. YOU ROCK!

No problem! I am glad it all worked out. We have Palo Brunch that day at 10:30. I figure we have enough time to walk around and let brunch and the champagne settle then it's off to taste some wine. Might need a nap by the pool after that!

Wow Melissa you deserve a great big thank you for the time and effort you have put into setting up the FE list. Thanks for helping to make everyone's trip extra special :thumbsup2

I know! Right?! I've got them sitting in a shopping cart.

If you go to onlineshoes dot com, they have many different versions of the Disney Birki's for women, girls, and boys and are having a 20% off sale (code SAVE20). They also offer free ground shipping! :thumbsup2

Hello! I am still feeling unsure about the FE gifts. Can anyone give me examples of things that you give or have given and how much you spend per room? Thanks so much!

Getting so excited and a little overwhelmed!!
