Magic Christmas Cruise 2010 (Dec 18th - 29th) - PART II

So I watched the coverage of the Dream on GMA this morning. My DH says "Is this the ship we will be on?" :lmao: He is a tad clueless. I told him we will be on the classic, less HUGE Magic.
Willing to be added to the Big Fish list.
Only 6 weeks? I have started wondering what I will do after we sail, and I am no longer able to obsess on the Dis!
Have a great weekend everyone!:yay:

I am so bummed I missed GMA this morning. :worship: I wanted to see the Disney Dream segment.
How was it ? :confused3

Another thought...where are you putting the people that do not care on the FE?

Hate to say this (as my DH might get ideas), but your DH is correct - from the airport, you will have to travel a good ways East to Disney and Outlet Malls. Hotel is due West, and a straight shot from the hotel on the highway. You might try Google maps to locate the nearest Costco, Sams and Walmart - they are scattered around and maybe on your route.
:drive:

From Orlando International Airport, WEST to DTD + outlets, EAST to hotel.

but don't get any ideas...:rolleyes1

All 4 of us are currently on the same excursions on Martinique. Not sure if we are going to stay booked on both, it seems like a lot in 1 day. I have next week penciled in for going over the excursions with DH, since he has not been as "hands on" as me! He likes to wait until we are on the plane to hear the plans. Can you imagine?:rolleyes1

Went shopping today for Tide to Go pens & shoe organizer everyone recommends for the bathroom. Anyone know if those all in one detergent/fabric softner things work? They look like dryer sheets & would be easy to pack a few.
Also, in the dollar section of Target they had Cars/Princess/Toy Story themed items. Magnets, stickers, pens, markers, small notebooks & dry erase boards. The boards do not have magnets on them, but you could easily put some on. They also have their Christmas stuff out, small white or blue trees anyone?:goodvibes

I use those 3-in-1 sheets all the time! They work great and smell nice. I would pre-treat any tough stains, and sometimes for really sweaty/stinky loads I use 2 sheets, but they are super easy!!:laundy:

Aw, man, I wish I was somewhere near a Target! I had visions of a nautical tree in my head. Then, I remembered all the wrapping and packing of ornaments and then all the rewrapping and repacking of ornaments on the night of the 28th. Nope, better save room for souvies.

I bought a little tinsel tree to put in the room so I wouldn't have to worry about ornaments and I could just leave it if I wanted or didn't have room. Or I might just order a little tree from Shirley to be a bit more festive. My Christmas smelling Glade thingie might not cut it.

As Scarlet would say, I'll think about that tomorrow. Today is FE count and checking in my non-citizen hubby online since I found the passport.

Oh! But I also want to worry about CM gifts today. I would like to pick up a few things to have to pass out, especially on Christmas day. But I swear I can't come up with a thing that won't break my already broke piggy bank. My ears are open for suggestions....

We hit the Target bins last night and have loaded up on Woody holiday socks, Lightning socks, Cars dry erase boards, Toy Story water bottles, coloring books, markers and Cars magnets (because you can never have enough magnets on your door).

When I was wandering over to get the Air Wick night lights/oil warmer, I came across a three ring binder with a vintage Mickey painting on it. I now have an official looking Disney cruise binder to hold all of our materials. My DW just shook her head and smiled.

What outlets??? This could be dangerous! I haven't shopped in over 8 months!!!

Hi Lissa,
I'ts been 7 months for me (we're in the Azores). Last trip to the states, I had to leave the mall. There were so many choices that it was overwhelming!

Does anyone know if they are offering the Champagne Brunch or High Tea?

We have reservations for the Tea (one of my favorite things), but have not been successful getting Brunch, no matter how many times we check.

When I checked yesterday, the site showed that Tea reservations were still available.

I have been looking for Brunch ressies since I booked, none available. It also says "none available" for tea, ever since I booked dinner. In 2008 we had dinner & brunch, and I would love to try a tea. Guess I will check on the 18th.

Darn it on the Tea -- whenever I've checked it hasn't been available. And just now, not avail. I've never done their high tea. Brunch is my favorite. Yum, yum.
