Magic Bands still haven't shipped

The last day to customize our Magic Bands was October 8th. I know others have said they have received an email when their Magic Bands ship. Since I haven't received an email yet, I thought I would check MDE. There are 3 other families traveling with us (separate rooms, reservations linked). I can see that their Magic Bands have already shipped and should arrive this week. However, under my reservation/room it says "Status: Act quickly! Your order may ship at any moment." We did customize names/colors and I confirmed the shipping address is correct several weeks ago.

Any idea why this one set of bands has not yet shipped, but all of the others have? I know it says they may "ship at any moment", but the kids are anxious to get them (as am I)! Am I just being impatient?

Oddly, there is another thread just like this that I just posted to. My final day was also 10/8. I received and email in the early hours of 10/10 letting me know that they shipped on 10/9. They arrived on 10/11.
My second set says that it shippes today but since it was a holiday, nothing really happened. I expect to get them by 10/15 or 10/16.
 
My orders said that for appox 2 days than I got shipping notice.
 
I had to call Disney to have my bands pushed through. They were stuck in "Act quickly" for days.
 

I think our last day to customize was also 10/8. I got an email on Friday (10th) that said they were shipping.
 
Ours were stuck as well. I spent 30 minutes on the phone last night and 20 minutes today. I was told because my DDs full name was in one spot on the reservation and her nickname was one another spot it caused an error.
 
Thanks for all of the responses. I finally discovered what I think may have been the answer on another thread. Apparently, if you booked through a non-Disney site (like an OTA), AND the people in your room do not all share the same last name, your Magic Bands can get stuck in a hold status.

To fix the problem, I called the website support number listed on Disney's help center page. I selected option 3 (for technical enquiries), and then waited for about 15-20 mins. I explained to the CM that I was receiving the "Act quickly. Your order may ship at any moment" message, but other people with whom I am traveling (different rooms/different reservations) had already received their magic bands. I then told them that I had read on disboards that there may be a problem because I had booked via an OTA and the people in my room have different names. After checking on our customization status, she came back and confirmed that the bands were on "hold". She was able to have the hold removed. The CM said that they should ship in the next day or so!

Apparently, some people call and the CM tells them the bands will ship 10 days out. Don't wait! Call the website support number and ask them to check to see if there is a hold on your bands.

Hope this helps anyone else who is running into the same issue!

Bumping.?

They typically ship a couple of days after you hit that 30-day "customize by" date. Our customize-by date was 10/8 or 10/9, and on that day, I checked MDE and it said "act quickly, shipping soon" and then I got an email I think on 10/10 or 10/11 that said they have shipped. Since I'm in Florida it didn't take very long -- they arrived yesterday, 10/14.

Yours should ship any day.

Thats what I had to do. I was 19 days out and they still hadn't shipped :scared1: So I had to call and "magically" they shipped the next day. lol

I had to customize by 8th of October so they have been sitting in limbo for just over a week. Is this normal or should I also call?
 
I've been having similar issues. I have a trip booked with three separate rooms. Two out of the three rooms have been sent the Magical Express tags, but not me yet. I have to call later on today again to try and resolve this. I've been worried about my Magic Bands not shipping either. Sigh.

I think it's definitely worth a call. I know your situation is a little different as they will be shipped to the resort, but better to call and make sure there isn't a hold on the bands.

Yeah, mine went into limbo too. Said the same thing, and ended up only getting them a week before. I don't know if maybe they run out of certain colors or just get busy/back logged or what. Worst case, they give you blah gray ones when you check in. Hope your custom ones make it, though :)

Yep, we had the same message for 3 days and now we have the shipped message.
