Magic Bands - resort pick up location error - glitch?

We ordered our Magic Bands for our trip next week through MDE, where it shows:

Your MagicBands Will Be Waiting for You
Inquire at the Front Desk or Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Terminal

The problem is we are staying at the Boardwalk Inn. I am an hold on phone and chat, but wondered if this is just a glitch or a problem that needs to be resolved so we aren't dealing with something the second we get there.

Sorry.
However, if you have a compatible smart phone, you'll be able to use it for MB situations if the MBs are
unavailable upon arrival at BW.

Probably just a glitch though. When you arrive at your resort, if they aren't there they should be able to track them and have them sent to your resort.

I wouldn't be too worried.
Just go to the front desk once you arrive at your resort and if they are not there they will be retrieved.

I'd say that's quite an 'upgrade' going from Boardwalk to Galactic Starcruiser!! I hope it works out, but don't worry, no matter where you 'land', they'll be able to get you Magic Bands.

It says front desk OR terminal. I wonder if this is just a generic message and Disney is trying to be cute and clever for those who are booked for the Starcruiser and it's not called a "front desk" for them.

I'd say that's quite an 'upgrade' going from Boardwalk to Galactic Starcruiser!! I hope it works out, but don't worry, no matter where you 'land', they'll be able to get you Magic Bands.

I think you nailed it. Some decision was made that they simply can’t ever call it a front desk, but they also don’t want to have to write a special program to identify if the guest is at the starcruiser or not prior to sending out magic band messages, so they just added it in for those guests-in other words the terminal is actually just a front desk-but they want to stay in character.

Yeah, the Chat folks said it was the new phraseology that is now standard. Would have been an awesome upgrade

Or, said in a more specific way, “Inquire at the Front Desk.
(Guests of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser should inquire at the Starcruiser Terminal.)”
