Do you get magic bands with a room only reservation? And if so, can I link tickets from undercover tourist to them?

You can order magic bands on line through the Disney Store. I received mine in the mail in a week. They linked with my tickets just fine.

If the OP has a Disney resort reservation she will get a free set of MBs so there is no need to purchase them. She will be able to customize the bands under the Magic Bands tab in My Disney Experience as soon as the resort reservation is linked.
