Magic band arrival question

Am I correct in assuming that our Magic bands won't be sent until we pay in full for our package? We leave in 42 days and bill is due in 12 days. As I compulsively want to get our bands as soon as possible, if I pay our bill now will they be sent any sooner than if I wait for bill due date?

You have until 30 days before your arrival to make changes to your band. They are shipped the very next day and should get to you in 5 days.

If you pay today, it won't make a difference. Bands are shipped around 30 days prior to the first night of your trip.

Yeah unfortunately as others have said they'll ship at the 30 day mark no matter what. :/ but being only 42 days away is soooo exciting anyways! Have fun!

Also, look IN the box that the Magic Bands come in for your luggage tags (not the yellow Magical Express tags, they will come in a different piece of mail). I didn't realize it until I read on the boards here, but last trip in December 2015, my plastic rectangular luggage tags were actually inside the MB box! I believe I had to take out the inner part that displays the bands and when I lifted it, they were underneath! I was sad at first thinking Disney forgot them but nope, just a little hidden!

You're welcome! That was December 2015 so I would assume it's still the same. I feel like before they used to come in the mail with the yellow ME tags but on our last trip they were definitely in the bottom of the Magic Band box!

Just got my bands and yes the luggage tags are still in the bottom of the box.

Just FYI, you only receive the plastic luggage tags if you have a package booked. If it is a DVC or room-only reservation, you only receive the bands.
